  1. Top 5? Top 5...? He isn't even Top 20 this year and I doubt it gets much better over the next 4 years. Include some defense and he is outside the Top 50. First off I mis-typed and meant to put top 5 outfielder. But to say he's not in the top 20 is flat out just wrong. Pretty much in every offensive category he is hovering top 10. And that is coming off of back surgery and other injuries. I'm in the camp that feels he's healing and will only be better next season. I think he's got 2-3 years left of flat out being Ryan Braun and a couple more seasons of being above average. And his defense is just fine out in left field.
  2. I'm hoping other teams don't want him. That way we have a top 5 bat in baseball hitting #3 for us for the remainder of his contract.
  3. Why do fast food place not put napkins in your drive thru bags? Seems like something I should have to ask for.
  4. Villar should be put at 2B and never moved again. That's part of the problem is that he's been jerked around too much. He's a 2B so just move on from Scooter and let him be an all star at 2B.
  5. Think of quality to good players that are 33-34 & up that might be retiring by 2020. That's who I want to see.
  6. The US should play with retired stars. Clemens, Bonds, ect... Get out there and win us a gold and maybe we'll put you in the Hall.
  7. That must make us the New England Patriots of the MLB!
  8. I'd rather have 25 year old Flores back at AAA next year than some 28-30 year old AAAA guy we just pick up to hold a place.
  9. Man, what a bummer. Time to come back to Milwaukee.
  10. The pitch to McCutchen for the second run just bothers me. It is either on Peralta, Pina, or the coaching staff. Or all three. Why... why with a shift on do you throw an outside fastball? A great hitter like McCutchen is going to shoot that through the hole more times than not.
  11. To be honest, I'm surprised someone hasn't nabbed him. Plenty of contenders have worse on their roster.
  12. Someone's gotta have a little fun with you and call you out. Just too comical.
  13. Last 14 days, OPS'ing .796 At home this year, .952 Wonder why Counsell wants to play him.... Good God man, just let it go already and let people have their opinion. You're essentially the only one who feels otherwise, yet you continue to state your opinion like it's fact. Let it go. If this season was about putting the best possible lineup out every day and winning the most games, people would understand the decisions based on the home/road splits. It's not. Lol you're the one trying to state your opinion as its fact. All I did was actually provide facts as to why he is most likely in the lineup. Check your last two sentences. I'd be willing to bet Counsell doesn't care if your panties are in a bunch over the lineup choices but he's trying to win games. It is what it is. This is just too good.
  14. Except it was reported yesterday that he is. I really don't know why you have such an issue with people having the opinion that Nieuwenhuis' gets excessive playing time with a young rebuilding team. I don't. I actually want Broxton/Santana to play. You're just obnoxious with it. So I give it back. But I do understand Kirk playing at home, where he's producing a ton.

  16. Might not be completely healthy either. There are a lot of factors that you won't even consider.
  17. So wait to complain if Broxton continues to sit. Not after a week of playing and then gets one night off.
  18. When's the last time Broxton has sat? You're going overboard on this with him simply having a day off so I'll refer you to my original comment to you. He'll be back in CF tomorrow. Stop with the sky is falling all the time. It's no big deal for him to have a seat today. Did you read my previous post at all? Big picture. No big deal if this was a one off thing. So wait to complain if Broxton continues to sit. Not after a week of playing and then gets one night off.
  19. Loving this 4 game winning streak Kirk has propelled this team to!

  21. Annnnd tomorrow he'll be back in CF. What's your point? Is it okay for us to disagree about the amount of playing time that Kirk Nieuwenhuis receives without having this same discussion every single time? Once you stop with this every single day, I'll stop. How bout that? Broxton is 2 for his last 20 (give or take) and maybe just needs a night to chill. What a perfect opportunity to get the red hot Kirk in CF for a night.
