I was responding to Hoffy's accusation that ned turned the game from a laugher into a panic. I just don't see how bringing in your best reliever has anything to do with that.
The Milwaukee Brewers keep finding ways to make their fans miserable. Yes, we won this game, but they didn't have to scare the dickens out of us in the process!
I have zero faith in any of our relievers not named Matt Wise. I was glad to see him in there. Besides, he only threw 8 pitches, so it worked out pretty well.
I agree. For the hardcore fans like us this game kills. But for the casual observer games like this are good for business. The casual fan will watch/go to the park if he/she thinks that they will be entertained.
How is this game Yost's fault? We had a 6-run lead and the bullpen simply had a meltdown. Relax. Over the course of a 162-game season really horrible things happen to a team.
...sports forum on the Internet? The discussion is insightful, the posters are not hypersensitive, trolls are non-existent, and the moderators do an excellent job keeping things under control. Man, am I happy I found this place!
I like this new brand of Brewers baseball that I have been seeing over the past three games. While I would like to see Sheets and Ohka pitching, you cannot deny that 8-7 wins and 7-6 games in the bottom of the 7th are a heck of a lot of fun.
While this has been an entertaining game for the average spectator, for a Brewers fan like me it has been frustrating. As soon as we tie the game the Cubs take the lead right back. On top of that we finally get Sheets some run support and he gives up 6 runs. Yuck.
