  1. I predict that the final score will be: Brewers: 2 Phillies: 5
  2. The game was lost in the top of the 7th when we had runners at 2nd and third with one out and we failed to score a run. I don't know if we'll win another game this season. We're 55-72, last year's team has caught us, and we very well could finish the season 0-35. Remember a couple of seasons ago when the A's went on a 26-game win streak? The same thing could happen here.
  3. I liked seeing Yost go nuts though.
  4. Podsednik Hall Overbay Branyan Jenkins Clark Moeller Counsell Davis Hold on a second, where is Helms? Shouldn't he be hitting leadoff? But seriously, I like the lineup today. This is how the 3-4-5 should have been a long time ago. However, I would rather see Clark or Counsell leading off, and Hall batting 6th. Overall I like it.
  5. I'm really nervous after the top of the 8th, but the bottom line is that we're three outs away from a victory. Let's do it!!!
  6. That was the inning from hell. Thank goodness we still have the lead.
  7. When was the last time the Brewers hit a multi-run HR? As for Branyon: 26 AB's/3 HR. Helms: 220 AB's/2 HR. Me likes Branyon. I smell a multi-HR game for RB. By the way, when was the last time a Brewer had a multi-HR game?
  8. Obie is starting? Chalk this one up in the 'L' column, unless o course we get 12 runs. Speaking of which, anyone here think we'll get 12 runs in this entire series?
  9. I just don't see us scoring 2 runs in 2 innings. I feel bad for Ben. By the way, when did Ben win his last game?
  10. Good job by Counsell leading off. Bad Job by Hall to GIDP. Good line-up by Yost, but I too would like Greive in the line-up. By the way, it's Hoffman time in Chicago! It would have been nice if Pods was benched in, lets say...June?
  11. NIce job Victor, but we're down 3-1. We can recover from a two run deficit, but we got to get going!
  12. I don't know, we have five hits. That's encouraging. Helms messed up again.
  13. Let's cut Yost some slack. After all this is only his second year as manager. He has a lot of stuff to learn and room for improvement. Besides, he has been showing signs of intelligence lately. Giving Helms a talking to, benching Pods, putting Pods at #8 for tues, pulling Cappy at the right time, and beleive it or not saying the right things to the media. Yes, Yost has room for improvement, but I trust he'll make it and someday become 80% of the manager Bobby Cox is.
  14. The Brewers WIN...and it feels soooooo good.
  15. "You called that yourself? F*** THAT!"
  16. 85 pitches is about the limit for Cappy. Look back at what happened at Houston earlier in July. Cappy was dealin' and then the wheels fell off. I just wish Yost did the same with Hendrickson vs. Chi.
  17. Yost isn't ******** after all. He talks to Helms, he benches Pods, and he is going to have Pods bat 8th on tuesday? In fact, maybe this is genius. Yost gives people ample opportunity to fail so he can a) have leverage with them in the future, b) identify what to do with slumping people in the future, and c) show the fans that he is not ******** after all. I should have left it at "Maybe Yost isn't ******** after all."
  18. Good AB by Brady. BTW, if Willis gets a no-hitter it should be stricken from the record.
  19. Cappy vs. Willis in an epic battle for greatness.
  20. I'm ready to drink beer and kick some ass! However, as a consequence of my lack of beer, all there is to do is kick ass! Anyway, look for Cappy to go 2-3 today.
  21. 1)Counsell 2)Clark 3)Overbay 4)Jenkins 5)Greive 6)Hall 7)Obermueller http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/glasses.gif Durrington 9)Bennett I hope that Obermueller gets converted to an OF or 3B. He has the potential to be another toolshed. Anyway, I look forward to the 'Duel of the Century'
  22. Good poop. Tie Game. One more than Kolb time. I gots to go.
  23. Chad wuz robbed, but all we need is a sac fly!
