Yeah I thought Nixon would be this years Kapler. And he did finally get a hit today with that HR but Duffy can play all three OF spots like Kap could.

Very nice start for Yovani today. Duffy seems to really want on this team, doing a heck of a job thus far.

Suppan is such a joke. Every time he starts the joke around our office is the over/under on how many runs he will give up. Usually the over wins.

I wonder if they will be doing a signing at a record store the day of the show with Artie Fufkin?

I like the A's in the West. Made some real nice additions to a decent young club.

By far one of my favorite movies of all time. Classic, Nigel my favorite for sure. "What's wrong with being sexy?"

I have to admit, I had no idea Santana was a Rule V pick. Crazy.
  9. BrewCrewForever
Yeah, knew that was gonna happen sooner or later. But he was about to talk about Jim Leyland so that may have screwed him up as well.
  10. BrewCrewForever
Yeah what was with Uecker and all the Koskie jokes/bashing?
  11. BrewCrewForever
I think Duffy and Thorman are both out ahead of Nixon and by a decent amount right now.
  12. BrewCrewForever
Yeah if Thorman continues to hit you have to wonder if he can play some OF if he could be that 4th OF over Nixon and Duffy? I know its early bit so far Nixon has not been this years Kapler.

The calender has turned to March and I'm gonna spend my afternoon listening to Uecker and Provus. Looking forward to hearing Bush make his first start. I have high expectations for him this season. Also I would say early here in camp the story is the red hot Scott Thorman.

I finally got in yesterday I got two nice third baseline tickets 11th row for me and my fiancee (will be wife by then) to the Braun bobblehead game. And today got 8 tickets for us and some friends to the memorial day game vs the Cardinals. For that game got outfield box tickets 1B side. I have to see I'm happy with the seats for those two games. Rest of the year I will pretty much buy as I go.

I wish he got a job anywhere other then with the Cubs.
  16. BrewCrewForever
I'm giving this 30 more minutes then I will try back later tonight and see if any tickets are left.

1 hr and 5 minutes of virtual waiting room hell. I just want my Braun bobblehead game tickets. For the love of God!
  18. BrewCrewForever
I'm just trying to get 2 tickets to the Braun bobble on May 3rd. Best available.

I'm in virtual waiting room hell.

I'm all for it as well as I think Yo is top of the rotation material. Just doesn't seem to be the way they do things, even though they have mentioned him before in long term talks.

Saw over at mlbtraderumors.com that all the Brewers players are signed except Yovani. Is it at all possible that the Brewers are trying to sign him longer then 1 year and buy out at least some arbitration years? Now I'm as big a Yovani fan as anyone but would the Brewers do this with a guy who is coming off two knee surgeries?
  22. BrewCrewForever
I second this. I would much rather see Duffy, Nixon, Nelson or Thorman on the club.
  23. BrewCrewForever
Yeah and Trot Nixon not so much. Perhaps Duffy will end up being that 4th OF for us. Nice to see Parra throw 2 scoreless with no BB.
  24. BrewCrewForever
Yeah I to have been quite disappointed the past couple weeks with the re-runs. I need new Office.
  25. BrewCrewForever
I'm just gonna go online tomorrow morning and get tickets for the Memorial Day game vs. St. Louis and get tickets for the May 3rd game against Arizona which is Braun bobblehead day and happens to be the day after my wedding. So me and the new Mrs. can go to our favorite place for our first full day of being married. The rest of the year I just get tickets as I seee games fit that I wanna go to or can go to.
