Gallardo isn't hurt is he? I was shocked to see he gave up 7 runs in 2/3 of an inning.
  2. BrewCrewForever
Alright, Nelson getting some more OF reps. Hopefully Gallardo can build on his last start when he was fantastic.

The opening sequence with Dylan playing was fantastic[/u]. No doubt, that was fantastic. One of my favorite parts of the film. I loved the way they went through American history with that. Perfect song choice.

Can't wait for USA vs Venezuela. Should be very competitive like US vs Canada was. Hopefully Oswalt can keep his pitch count down and at least go 4 if not 5 inning. Here's to Braun getting some hits today after his 0-4 yesterday.

Favorite line in the movie: "Remember I'm not locked in here with you, your locked in here with me!" Rorschach is the man!
  6. BrewCrewForever
Yeah that could be their one weak spot that used to look strong. Losing Nathan, Broxton, Ryan and Fuentes sucks. Putz scares me if he is supposed to be the 9th inning guy throughout.

Man, knowing the Brewers game is on WGN now its tough to say what to watch more of? The Brewers vs Cubs or Team USA vs Canada. I actually think I will be more into the USA vs Canada since it is a much more meaningful game.

Netherlands beating the DR would be a HUGE upset. Can't wait to see Team USA an Braun start their journey to redemption today.

Looking forward to todays WBC games. Right now its crazy, Netherlands are actually beating the DR 3-1 in the 5th. Would be a HUGE upset. I'm having a few buddies over to watch the USA vs Canada game. Hopefully USA makes a statement early and Braun contributes. Also looking forward to actually seeing Lawrie play since we have heard so much about him.

Seen it tonight. Like others said visually it was fantastic. I also loved the Soundtrack especially the Dylan during the opening credits and Hendrix toward the end. Overall it had my attention and I liked it but very slow moving and long.

Yes, they are Majestic brand. Got mine at the Menomonee Falls Kohls today.

After it showed my post it was already gone. That was weird.

I actually don't want to trade Hall. I have a good feeling he is gonna have a bounce back year. And I'm not sure how I feel about a McGehee/Lamb platoon at 3B. I don't really want Swisher or Cabrera. Maybe Ian Kennedy, but I doubt they part with him for Hall. All speculation at this point.
  15. BrewCrewForever
Nope, he is still a Brewer. He is playing for Italy in the WBC though. Luis Pena was a Brewer who the Mariners snagged.

I love Ryan Braun. That is all I can say, dude is just awesome in every facet. Even though I would agree those shirts are a little loud, still cool he dabbles in other things. But we all know is main goal is to be the absolute best on the field. And in only 2 years of playing he has put up numbers only matched by guys that are in the HOF or on their way (Pujols). That says a lot about a player. When he signed a 7 year deal to stay here in Milwaukee at what will basically be under value is just shows he wants to play and not worry about that stuff.

Does not seem major at all. I doubt Rivera will miss much time. And I would be shocked if he had to start the season on DL. If so Rottino can fill in for a few weeks I suppose.

Kohls has them for $25 (Blue USA shirts with BRAUN 18 on the back. Saw and bought one today during my lunch hour. Thanks for the heads up 20fry. I will have to get one.

I actually didn't know they still did the Cop cards. That is pretty cool. I remember being a youngster playing around in the neighborhood and my friends and I running when we saw a Cop to ask if he had any cards. Always hoping to get Yount or Molitor but usually getting some tool like Rob Robinson or Franklin Stubbs.
  20. BrewCrewForever
Do you remember by chance how much the jerseys were? I know a replica one at mlbshop.com is $99.99.
  21. BrewCrewForever
Yeah I knew it was Reggie something, couldn't think of the last name.
  22. BrewCrewForever
A buddy of mine wanted to get a Braun shirt or jersey so I actually went and emailed Haudricourt about it to see if he knew what number Ryan would wear. He actually went and asked Braun about it. He requested #8 but the Team USA hitting coach got #8 so Braun asked for #18 and will in fact wear #18. I saw a picture of him from the Yankee scrimmage online somewhere and he was in a 18 jersey.
  23. BrewCrewForever
Yeah Branyan should not have been on that roster. He is actually good.
  24. BrewCrewForever
I'm pretty sure diener34's team would lose the most games in MLB history.
  25. BrewCrewForever
I doubt he will miss too much time. I'm not too concerned.
