  1. Because his other stats are all there. AVG, HR, RBI, SLG, OPS, Doubles, Triples. Am I worng? Just my opinion.
  2. Until Braun walks more many just seem like they won't be satisfied. Sure I would love to see him walk more, but if he contines to hit for power and in the .290's how can you really complain?
  3. I even went ahead and picked up Russ on the free agent market in my fantasy league. So far so good, he also can play at 3B and OF in the league.
  4. I guess I to ust don't understand why people are so concerned about Braun's OBP. Yes it should and could be higher but all the other numbers are there. He deserves it as much as and probably more then the other OF with highter OBP.
  5. He was talking about MBB, not you. Oh yeah, I got it. Dumb of me.
  6. .291, 20 HR and 55 RBI. Hard to argue with those numbers no matter what the OBP is.
  7. I still have to think if Branyan us up for the Boston series we win at least 1 game there.
  8. No Hardy again? Not good, I smell a DL stint on the way.
  9. I have been voting for Braun, Burrell and McClouth. I think Braun deserves it, sure his OBP is not high but he has the HR, RBI, SLG and has hit in the .290's all year (except the high .280's currently). All that plus he plays for my team and is my favorite player of course I voted for him.
  10. Wild guess here... you're part of management? Madison, yes I should be working while at work and I do. I did mention that I just surf the net during my lunch hour. No DougJones, I'm not management.
  11. What was special about that game if I can ask?
  12. I have not tried to enter from brewerfan.net. I just typed the full address (brewersfandemonium.yuku.com) and it was blocked.
  13. Simple amazing. I had the live shot by shot blog from golf.com on my work computer all afternoon and just kept refreshing. Just an amazing tourney, as much as I love Tiger I was kind of pulling for Rocco. They are replaying the round right now on ESPN Classic.
  14. I still think Gamel will stay at 3B. He has already improved his D a lot this season under the guidance of Don Money. Hopefully he continues that and can be a decent fielding 3B who will rake at the plate. LaPorta could eventually take over at 1B and but until then if you have to throw Hart in CF and figure out between Braun and LaPorta who will be in LF and who in RF. It should all be fine.
  15. It's simple, Torres is the 9th inning guy. Mota is not.
  16. Why did they give out a Jon Anderson of ESPN bobble?
  17. While since it was Tiger I expected the put to fall. It was a very tough put and I wasn't going to be shocked if it didn't go in.
  18. I hate homer hankies. Saw a bunch of Twins fans waving them a section over from where I was at the game today. Its like hey lets copy the Steelers and make the towels white like were surrender.
  19. I'm sure at some point Seth will have another bad start, but if he has many more like today's and only once in awhile gets lit up I'm okay with that. Even in a small sample he has been much more consistent then Bush.
  20. Yeah Branyan's D has been pinpoint. I never thought he was bad at defense to begin with. I remember him playing darn good D back in 04'-05' for us. Besides Braun and Hart, Branyan is the third guy I get most excited to watch bat even ahead of Prince.
  21. Thanks Woogie, I will be at work so I will miss all of it. But I will have to check golf.com every once in awhile for an update. I do like Rocco, seems like a good guy would be cool if he won, but I can't root against Tiger.
  22. I'm still holding out hope that the Brewers will give Sheets the money and re-sign him so I don't want to see him traded. Were still in for the wild card and even the division is still a hope so no way you trade your ace.
  23. What an amazing final round today. I watched the whole thing after I got home from the Brewer game. Very entertaining, lots of drama on that last hole it was awesome. I would be highly surprised if Tiger didn't win tomorrow. Anyone know what that that starts and if it will be on TV?
  24. JJ, I was one of those back in April. After those first two relief outings I was ready to give up on Seth. I totally apologize to Seth for all the "McDung" references I gave to him. I'm glad for him not only because he is helping my team win but I have heard him numerous times on 1250's post game show and he seems like a genuine good guy. Plus, us red heads have to stick together. Whoever made the Webb comparison I would agree. Not that he is even close to Webb but he seems to throw a hard sinking type fastball and it is working. As long as he continues to not walk many he will have success. If he walks guys he will struggle.
  25. Thanks 2hoophead, I might try that but I don't want to try anything like that and get in any kind of trouble for it. We'll see, I was just surprised that a site like this would be blocked to begin with.
