    1. I so happy for the Braun signing its hard to put into words. I wouldn't mind getting Fielder locked up but with LaPorta lurking I might use that $$ for pitching. 2. Once the Cubs start playing outside of the friendly confines they will struggle a bit. They seem to play every game at home like USC football. 3. I love Man-Ram. Dude is a great player a little goofy and has a great time playing the game.

    Awesome, Rays are by far my favorite AL team. Very fun and exciting watch. Kazmir has been on my fantasy team the last few years and been awesome. With an improved offense his wins will go up with those great K numbers.

    I think LaPorta is untouchable. Gamel might get moved, but I kind of don't wanna see him gone either.

    I'm all for Prince getting locked up as well. But if it could only be one, Braun no doubt is my guy. And I'm very happy this is done.

    I to think Hart should be the next guy getting a deal. Fielder better not be mad about this deal, it's his fault Boras is his agent and won't let the Brewers buy out free agent years.

    I would not even think about trading LaPorta. Gamel maybe, but even he might not be worth trading. Especially the way Billy Hall can't seem to hit righties we may see Gamel up and starting at 3B next season.

    I am so happy today. Braun has been my favorite Brewer since he came up last season. You could just see superstar written all over him. He just strikes me as the type of player that COULD have a long HOF type career. I don't know for sure if he will, but he has that talent and ability. I would love to see him be a lifetime Brewer and get that #8 in the Miller Park rafters some day down the road.

    Yeah that has pretty much been pair for the course in their losses. Although Mota didn't get the job done, he was the logical choice. Gagne was and should not have been available after throwing as much as he did in two days. I still put this game mostly on Fielder's inability to field a ground ball that is so routine. Dude is just an awful fielding 1B and probably always will be.

    I would love to hear an announcement that Braun has been locked up. My favorite player and the one guy on this team I would build around, even before Fielder. I just hope Hart is next in line. Although getting Maddux would be cool to.

    I'd love to spend money to keep Sheets and spend money on a rental pitcher for this season in veteran Greg Maddux.

    Well I hope we get one on Friday or Saturday. I would hate to have to go into Sunday facing Beckett without a win in the series yet, that could spell sweep.

    Welcome to the board Owen. I would like to take back my "tool" comment in the other thread. As for Gagne, he does need to be the closer for this team to succeed. Sure they could go closer by committee for awhile, but in the end no one knows there role and the bullpen gets burnt out fast that plus the fact that Gagne was not good in a setup role for Boston last year shows that he is a 9th inning guy or pretty much nothing at all. Hopefully the save yesterday starts a streak for him and gives him complete confidence. It was nice to see the fans cheer him and of course he has the support of his manager and team, I see good things ahead or at least I hope since I have been the biggest supporter of Gagne here.
