Yeah I know AAA and the Major's are two very different animals but I sure would like to have Branyan up. He wouldn't put up the kind of numbers he is now in AAA but he sure would be nice to have off the bench guy who could tie a game with one swing. Also with the way Hall has hit righties this season Branyan could get a start once or twice a week at 3B against RHP. Gwynn gives you a slap hitting lefty off the bench, we have that in Counsell. It's 3TO time! Get it done Doug!
Brewers lineup per TH on JSonline: 2B Rickie Weeks CF Mike Cameron LF Ryan Braun 1B Prince Fielder RF Corey Hart SS J.J. Hardy DH Joe Dillon 3B Bill Hall C Jason Kendall
I have always thought of Jason Kendall as a solid defensive catcher. Not great like a Molina or Rodriguez. But very solid all around, I knew he would not be as bad as he was last year throwing guys out and knew he couldn't be worse then Johnny Estrada was so when we signed him I was very pleased. He has exceeded my expectations and it's nice that he has hit good around the .280 mark. If he can stay around that average all season and continue to play solid defense he was a great pickup by DM.
Stetter looked so good this season, I don't understand how he could have been so on and then these last two outings just be awful. Hopefully he gets back up in a hurry, not a big Zach Jackson fan.
I recently had to run the recovery disc on my laptop because I had some kind of virus or bad spyware problem so I to lost all my stuff on my itunes. I have already re-installed itunes. Which program will work best to take the stuff off my ipod and put it back into itunes?
Lots of good ones out there. Webb, Santana, Sabathia (even though struggling this season), Zambrano, Sheets, Beckett, I could go on. But yeah this year it's hands down Webb, what he is doing is amazing.
I'm pretty neutral on it. Doesn't get me overly excited and I'm not against it because it breaks "tradition". I am however excited to see the Brewers get to play at the great Fenway Park. I would love to see us go in there and win the series and see Gagne get a few saves. Red Sox Nation would probably explode with anger if that happened.
I'm really hoping for 6 wins. But I guess 5 wouldn't be the worst thing in the world. Anymore then 6 and I would be amazed and I would say they are ready to get hot.
I'll be happy with 1 out of 3. I hate saying this but they basically have to win both the Pirates and the Nationals series. If they can win 6 out of 10 on that trip I would be very happy. Anymore wins then that and it's a bonus.
