  1. Ooops, my bad were only 11-7. But yeah I hope they win in my first regular season game at MP tonight.
  2. I remember that post, and I agree with it. Just like I'm not giving up on my boy Gagne, I'm not giving up on Weeks. But if he is not able to find "it" I am curious as to if they would have some combo of Hardy and Escobar up the middle.
  3. Yeah I think your right when he said "his team" he was talking about that pitchers team. My bad.
  4. Interesting remarks. I can agree with the stuff about Weeks, most of the Fielder stuff and all of the Sheets comments. But I dunno about the Braun remarks. His teammates don't like him? It sure seems like he gets a long fine with everyone. He moved positions for his team, I don't see how he is a bad teammate. Sure he is a little cocky, but there are tons of guys like him in the league. If I remember correctly he didn't even make a stink about his contract renew and said all the right things, unlike another Brewers player.
  5. Couldn't Escobar move to 2B? Keeping Hardy at SS.
  6. Yeah that is a great point. We are 12-7 and the only person batting over .300 of our regular starters is Kendall and the next closest is Hart in the .270's. Once Braun, Fielder, Weeks and Hardy begin to heat up a bit and I don't think there is any doubt that they won't we will start scoring a ton of runs.
  7. I'm still not sold on Weeks either way good or bad. But if he continues to struggle I would wonder if they would go with a Escobar/Hardy combo up the middle? I don't know much about Escobar except that he has gotten a lot of praise thus far.
  8. I will be at tonights game. Please guys, lets actually hit Wainright this time around. Hopefully CV can put together a nice outing tonight. Save the pen!
  9. Well I said I would change my Gagne avatar when and if he blew a save which he did yesterday. So being superstitious like I am I gotta change it up. Now it's Ryan Braun from the SI article on him in the preview issue.
  10. I'm still not giving up on Gagne. He had a bat outing, I know he has blown 3 saves in 9 chances but he will put together a string of 10 or more at some point, at least I hope. The pitch to Bako didn't even look bad to me, it was below the knees Bako just got lucky and golfed it into right field.
  11. All I'm saying is Hammonds signed a huge contract and never even came close to producing for the Brewers and was injured heavily during him team in a Brewers uni.
  12. Yeah I would figure by tomorrow the whole roster situation will be all figured out at least until April 29th when Cameron comes off the suspension then another move will be made.
  13. Both guys are 4th OF's no more no less. I think most can agree on that. I guess it depends what you want in a 4th guy. Speed, defense and a decent batting average you go with Gwynn. If you want a little more power then you go with Gross.
  14. If anyone player stole money from the Brewers it was Jeffrey Hammonds. Not Geoff Jenkins.
  15. So right now our bench is Counsell, Rivera and Kapler? Three guys? That is crazy, if we go to extra's today and need pinch hitters I think Bush and Suppan are going to be getting AB's.
  16. For myself, throw a frozen pizza in the pizza oven or just make a big fat deli sandwhich with some chips. Easy and quite tasteful. Oh and Ramen noodles is another good one.
  17. I'd like to see Gagne get another save opportunity tomorrow. Not sure what Ned's thoughts are on using him taht many days in a row. If they chose to rest Eric I would assume Riske or Torres would get that opportunity?
  18. This is so depressing. I can't hardly put it into words. Sheets was looking like a Cy Young candidate.
  19. Yovani or whoever it is, please pitch well and notch us this sweep. And Mr. Sheets continue to get treatment or whatever it takes to pitch Wednesday and keep your roll going.
  20. I'm still trying to be as optimistic as I can, but I still can't shake wondering how in the world for the 4th year in a row Sheets gets some kind of injury. I mean lots of pitchers go seasons without ever being injured. Does he not warm up enough? Warm up to much? Does the traning staff have anything to do with this? I just wish there were some answers.
  21. Just crazy. Nice bobbles but I could never afford to pay that for a bobblehead.
  22. I also love Gagne but that has been well known around here. Great win today.
