  1. Yeah I'm not looking forward to how much we are going to have to fork over for Braun and Fielder. I really think unless the payroll gets huge for us that we may have to pick between the two. I mean we also have to give money to Yo, Hart and Weeks eventually.
  2. for the one millionth time That was a bit snappy.
  3. Pearl Jam "I am Mine" from Riot Act The selfish, they're all standing in line Faithing and hoping to buy themselves time Me, I figure as each breath goes by I only own my mind The North is to South what the clock is to time There's east and there's west and there's everywhere life I know I was born and I know that I'll die The in between is mine I am mine And the feeling, it gets left behind All the innocence lost at one time Significant, behind the eyes There's no need to hide We're safe tonight The ocean is full 'cause everyone's crying The full moon is looking for friends at hightide The sorrow grows bigger when the sorrow's denied I only know my mind I am mine And the meaning, it gets left behind All the innocents lost at one time Significant, behind the eyes There's no need to hide We're safe tonight And the feelings that get left behind All the innocents broken with lies Significance, between the lines (We may need to hide) And the meanings that get left behind All the innocents lost at one time We're all different behind the eyes There's no need to hide
  4. Did they have some kind of heater in the tent? I was a bit groggy when I was seeing the piece. I know they were grilling brats.
  5. I have the sports section from the MJS after Braun's debut with the Crew against the Padres. He is on the cover. Do you think it could be worth something? I'm thinking of getting some kind of frame for it and putting it on the wall with my 8x10's and such. Suggestions for what works best to put newspapers in?
  6. I actually had to think for a second who you were talking about. Then boom! It hit me, duh. That would be crazy to see Bonds in a Pirates uni again. If they played in the AL I could see it.
  7. I totally agree with you Jason. Berman's schtick is so old and outdated I hate it. He is a joke. Im also a avid reader of Steve Czaban's blog and I love it when he rips Berman/ESPN. It's a shame all those Berman outtakes from the MNF set in 2000 have been taken off youtube. I saw them all and they were all priceless.
  8. Yeah I could see the Japan thing. But l think the most realistic place for Bonds is the Yankees. He can DH and with that short RF porch at Yankee stadium he could hit 40 HR this season. Book it.
  9. Hopefully, Chanel and Prince are onto that. Into what?
  10. Yeah I think its cool for nostalgia that the muscle is back, but it's probably not going to have a big effect except maybe for Nashville. And thats cool.
  11. Prince is turning into a hippie. Thats awesome.
  12. That is quite interesting. Big props to Prince for trying to watch the weight. I would hate to see him get as big as Cecil got. Brian I am now very hungry for nachos.
  13. 20fry have you ever seen the Batman and Robin poster at one of those shows?
  14. Yup, Jen Lada of Fox 6 sports in Milwaukee did a piece in the 9pm news about the first group that was there camping out.
  15. I hear you. I'm getting more and more excited everyday for the 2008 season to begin. I really feel this is the year.
  16. Im all for selling the retro merch and busting out the caps and uni's for one throw back the clock night a year but not wearing them every Friday or Sunday. I would be for having an alternate hat that is the ball and glove logo but in the current color scheme. Then they could wear that cap at home or on the road on Sunday's or something. Similar to what the Cards do with there hat that has a cardinal on it.
  17. Exactly. It should be a close race that could go either way. Didn't Stone get fired by WGN? You would think he would have something against them and not us?
  18. I think wins certainly help make a pitcher look even better, but I think ERA, WHIP and innings may be a better way to look at how good a pitcher is.

  22. Same here that is what I have on my laptop and work computer.
  23. Say what you will about Branyan but I will never forget the HR he hit off Maddux or the two long balls on Opening Day.
  24. No way would the Red Sox be 15, Cubs be 25 and Brewers 29. Was this not supposed to be published till April 1 for fools day?
