  1. Im a little surprised that Miller is not in there after such a great game yesterday. And with the fact that a lefty is on the mound for Pitt and right handed is Estrada's weak side of the plate. Oh well.
  2. No doubt that Hall is out of that April and most of May slump, but I think he will hit even better. I still think he can have one of those 5 or 6 HR's in a week stretches. Edit: Getting back to Jason Bay like Hall and like Vernon Wells he will start to pick it up and put up numbers close to what he is used to.
  3. Big time snub. The first catch Hall made was good, but nothing to special. But that second catch was outstanding and should have been a top play and web gem.
  4. Woogie thanks for the great ROY tracker. Braun, Pence and Hamilton have all put up nice numbers this season. Should be a close race. I hate these weird start time games and then no TV to boot. Come on Cappy here is to a strong start coming back off the DL. Offense lets keep it going!
  5. Reyes 1st and Martin 8th. Other then that it could be about any combo.
  6. Billy Hall is back in full effect. Although I to think Billy is back, I think he still has not gotten as hot as he will.
  7. Classic Player: Rob Deer in the 87 Sports Illustrated pose. That would be my 2nd choice for classic player.
  8. That is an awesome article. I love this site, I don't know what I would do without brewerfan.net for my Brewers/Baseball fix.
  9. Yeah Braun and Hart could take over that Estrada or Suppan spot. I was just going with my gut. But I would say if Cordero is back he and Hardy are locks. If they choose to do one of a "classic" player I would say a Ned Yost in his 82' uni with catchers gear on.
  10. Come on Supp, we need a dominate start today to get a W to start this 4 game series in a park where seasons have sometimes gone to die. PNC Park sucks.
  11. Speaking of an 08' Cordero bobblehead. If the Brewers team stays what it is now for 08' here is who I think will be immortalized with bobbles. JJ Hardy Francisco Cordero Johnny Estrada Jeff Suppan
  12. Im all for the Brewers wearing the navy blue alternates during the playoffs, but very against wearing the retro alternates. Like patrick said, lets not go back to 82' when the 07' team is in the playoffs.
  13. Prince will put on a show in the competition. I wonder if Griffey and Bonds will both enter as well?
  14. Congrats to all four guys. I had a good felling that all four would have a good chance to get there, and they did. Hopefully they all get a chance to play, do well and get out with no Lee syndrome.
  15. Well that takes care of the move that needed to be made to get Capuano off the DL. I to wonder what there plans are for Dessens when he's healthy if Spruling is gone or if Dessens is gone? We will see.
  16. That is sweet giving out bobble heads at what is basically a wood bat summer league for college kids. Amazing. The Thomas looks very nice. Wish I would be able to make that Gantner game, oh well.
  17. Come on boys, keep those bats going and lets take the series today!
  18. Cordero Fielder Hardy Sheets Braun will have to settle for ROY. Amen to that.
  19. Id rather have the World Series become 1 game like the Super Bowl before Id want it to be 9 games. I think a best of 7 is plenty.
  20. Very happy for Ben that he is finally getting W's because we have an offense now that can score rune for him. He doesn't have to go out there and feel like if he gives up 1 or 2 runs that we will lose. He has some room for error if he happens to make a bad pitch or two. Sheets is as good as any pitcher in the NL and I would take him into battle against anyone.
  21. Deal made with slobberknocker. Mods if you wish to lock go ahead.
  22. Man Im starting to lose count at how many times Braun as almost hit for the cycle. I predict that he will get a cycle at some point this season easily. Nice to see basically everyone chipping in and Sheets being dominate, 10 wins and a 3.19 ERA, that has all-star all over it.
  23. If not, I agree with you. The Brewers' dream scenario in LF is probably Jenkins to Laporta in 09, much like it was supposed to be Koskie to Braun in 07/08. That is pretty much my thinking. As for the outfield of Hall, Gwynn and Hart. Its not a bad idea, but Hall has improved so much in CF that I want to see him stay there as I think he will continue to get even better and someday will be better then Gwynn out there anyway.
  24. Ned Yost in his catchers uniform? I would love to see a retro Ned Yost bobble. That would be amazing.
