If there was ever a game Wolf deserved to win, this was it. And he almost didn't. Cain was fantastic. -
I blame the defense, but Axford should have never been in this game.

C'mon. I know you've watched the Brewers a lot this season. It's all too real, and all too predictable. Very true, I just don't want to believe it!

Given our past history against Wainwright, I would be very shocked if we won this game. Maybe we squeek out a couple runs and Wolf pitches his best game of the season. I can hope, right?

Well, the Pirates and the Mets combined to help. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/ohwell.gif If we had undeniable proof that Suppan starting that NLDS Game 4 was 100% Sveum's decision, I'd be more inclined to agree with you. Yes, I to wonder who really made the call to start Suppan in game 4 when Gallardo was available and did end up pitching in relief that game. I still think that Melvin and/or Attanasio had a lot to do with that decision and not so much Sveum.

So it looks like Vince is out of control. Doing coke, drinking hard and lying to E about it. I really like Billy Walsh being back and his idea for Drama in a cartoon is pretty cool.

I'm not sure what sight upsets me more, Ken Macha or Manny Parra. Probably a push.

I am getting to the point where I don't even want to watch the Brewers when Parra starts. That is how much I dislike him and think he sucks.

Cain went hit less last night, so of course Macha has to get him out of the lineup. I can't wait till Macha is gone.

Listach and Gonzalez would also be okay with me. I forgot about both of them.

The more I hear about Don Money, the more I like him as a replacement for Macha. He has progressed all the way through the ranks of minor league managing, always seeming to do well and help players with their development. So I think he is my first choice. Give him the final bump from AAA to MLB. If not Money, I would be okay with Valentine, Kremblas (I liked him to replace Yost in 08' had Yost been first in May) and I might even be okay with Sveum getting 1 year. I mean it was a small sample but the team did go 7-5 under him and they all seem to respect him and want to play for him. I thought he should have gotten the shot in 2009, but they chose Macha instead.

MLB Network is airing a 1 hour special on the 94' Montreal Expos this Sunday night at 9pm. That should be good, they were a heck of a team that could have won it all, except for you know, that strike.

No doubt, Costas has always been one of my if not my favorite baseball play-by-play voice. I loved it when he used to do the World Series for NBC. Hearing him do games on MLB Network the last few years has been like old times.
