  1. Gamel's numbers are starting to look pretty good. That is good to see. Brett Lawrie has 14 triples. Crazy.
  2. I usually like my women a little bit thicker(i am a Wisconsin boy after all), but MAN she was smoking hot. Agreed, I like a little curves myself, but she did look outstanding.
  3. Jeffress will be the most interesting to see play if he gets called up. He could be electric.
  4. I really love the Tampa Bay Rays. Easily my second favorite team in MLB. I really think they can and I really hope they do win the World Series. So young and so talented.
  5. I will say as thebruce44 said, last week was one of the better episodes in awhile. And a added bonus was Mrs. Ari, wow she looked very nice.
  6. I would think Cain, Gamel, Jeffress, Villanueva and Butler.
  7. Who is all in the police set? Just curious.
  8. Coffey did Parra no favors, but once again Parra got himself in trouble and was unable to get big outs and go 6 innings or more. He just can't seem to ever do it. He has, but not very often.
  9. Whew, that was close. I don't care what our record is our the Cubs record. Anytime we beat them I feel great. Let's get greedy and go for the sweep tomorrow!
  10. Jeremy Hellickson is really good. Rays are just so rich with pitching.
  11. This was a fun game to watch. It is one thing to beat the brains out of the Pirates, but to do it to the Cubs at Wrigley, all that more sweet.
  12. I just hope that Rickie does not pick Boras as his agent. That would really suck.
  13. Yeah, I am not sure if he would be ready to start 2011, I was thinking more late 2011 or Opening Day 2012.
  14. I think Corey Hart would be good batting 2, 4 or 5. Assuming Fielder is gone, which we all know he will be.
  15. I like the extension, I would have been fine trading Corey if we could have gotten a good pitcher back, but no one bit so they signed him to a fair deal for both sides. This along with the moves of Gamel and Lawrie to other positions tells me they at least have a plan now when Fielder is traded thsi offseason for pitching. Now go sign Weeks to an extension and I think our offense will still be pretty productive even with out Fielder. Just have to improve that pitching, which we all know. Here would be my 2012 lineup and possibly even 2011 I guess: 1. Cain - CF 2. Hart - RF 3. Weeks - 2B 4. Braun - LF 5. Gamel - 1B 6. Lawrie - 3B 7. Lucroy - C 8. Escobar - SS 9. Pitcher
  16. I think Cain could possibly step right in and bat leadoff. Not saying he will, but might. He has much better plate discipline then Gomez or Escobar. He should carry a good OBP and be able to bat at the top. And with Fielder and maybe Hart both gone it would be nice to be able to move Rickie into the 3 hole. I think Gamel would most likely bat 5th or 6th, although I would not be opposed to him batting 2nd.
  17. We have some pretty good young arms in the minors right now. But they probably won't be here until 2012. Odorizzi, Heckathorn, Bucci, Peralta, Rivas and Jeffress.
  18. A lot of very good young players coming through the Royals system in the next year or two. Ned could have a good team on his hands.
  19. Haha, first thing I thought of when I read this was Bill Simmons and that Stark Trek clip. Don't get this move at all by the Twins. What has Rauch really done to get removed from the closers role? He's 21 of 25 with a 3 ERA and a very good K/BB ratio. Seems pretty ridiculous. Oh and it hurts my fantasy team as Rauch was one of my closers. Damn.
  20. Looks like the first moves that will mean the trading of Fielder and Hart but also the extension of Rickie Weeks. I'm happy, although they should have moved Gamel and Lawrie around sooner.
  21. Anytime a bar has a Lakefront Beer on tap I am impressed. Not many do.
  22. Take this for what it is worth, but I heard Haudricourt on the D-List this afternoon and he said he would not be surprised if the Brewers extended Weeks before the season is over. I for one hope he is right.
  23. I'm kind of surprised Zaun is not already on the 60 day DL. It's pretty clear he was not going to come back this season.
