It's hard not to like our lower level pitching prospects (Odorizzi, Arnett, Heckathorn, Peralta, etc). Hopefully they can stay healthy and continue to learn and progress. Could have a nice rotation in 2012 or 2013. Really looking forward to following Rogers first AAA start on Gameday tomorrow night. Hopefully he has a couple really nice starts and they just leave him at AAA. The way things are going, I wouldn't be surprised if we see Mark come September of this season in Milwaukee. -
To me, Hoffman's career died on May 18th, the Reds game. Yet he continues to pitch. He has nothing, it's over. And I noticed during the last home stand that they STILL had that Hoffman saves counter up. Please, take that thing down already.

Silver lining, Gallardo pitches tomorrow. And we see the re-debut of Capuano on Thursday. Don't know how good he will be, but it will be cool to see him out there.

Oh, the Brewers bullpen does it again. And Hoffman is NOT burned out. He is just done.

Amen to that. While I wanted Suppan gone as much as anyone, I could care less about Stern being let go. He reminds me of a non-siwtch hitting Chris Magruder. I would be fine with Lo Cain getting the call here or there if they need an OF. He might be starting on the 2011 Brewers anyway, get hime some big league AB's.

I agree with this. I would move Narveson back to the pen and have Parra start in his spot.

Real nice outing by Arnett today. Perhaps he is starting to put it together. Back to back good outings.

Up 4-0 after 5 to possibly losing by 10. It's just unbelievable.

I think it is a little of both. But maybe more that he is overworked, as is the entire bullpen because save for Gallardo, our starting staff stinks.

Oh my, another piece of proof on how bad umpires are. Kottaras hit his hand and Uggla never touched home plate. Yet Uggla was safe.

It's frustrating how quickly the Brewers can change from a pleasant way to spend an afternoon to the last thing I want to spend time paying attention to.That is the exact way I was feeling. I'm relaxing, laying on the couch with the dogs in my office got a nice breeze coming in through the screen door enjoying a nice baseball game and then, crap. Just when this team sucks you back into thinking they could make a run and get back in the race, they do this.

So frustrating. A 4-0 lead, our starter is cruising and then Boom! It all falls apart. I guess that double play with the bases loaded the previous inning kind of started the downfall.

I don't care what Hart has been doing with his bat. You have to make that defensive play. Unreal. BA summed it up. The Brewers pitching had been horrible this season.

I to was okay with Macha leaving Narveson in. I was not okay with whoever called a fastball right down the middle on the first pitch to Ross.
