Basically, If your name isn't McGehee, Braun, Escobar, or Gallardo you should put your house up for sale. I pretty much agree with that, except I might put Weeks and Gomez in that group as well. Maybe even Wolf because they just signed him. But everyone else is fair game and I am fine if any other player on the current 25 man is traded.

Yeah, that had me laughing pretty hard. I love how Creed always screws up his co-workers names. It's a good running joke.

I liked the addition of Adam Scott and Rob Lowe to the cast. Both guys should bring even more laughs. And yeah, Ron and Andy were classic on this weeks episode. Next week is the season 2 finale. Can't wait for season 2 to come out on DVD.

Biggest sign to me that I am demoralized. I have been keeping up much more with the minor league forum. Because I am looking to the future. And that is what I did 4 or 5 years ago on a regular basis.

Oh man, I would love it if the Rays would take Fielder. We could get Hellickson and another couple guys I bet. That would be great.

While today's game was no fun to watch, on FS WI right now they are showing a Brewers Classic. It's a good one, from 2005 vs the Twins. The game when Fielder and Weeks both hit their 1st career HR's and Braun was interviewed in the booth after being drafted and signing.

I think Lawrie should move to RF and Gamel to 1B, keep Casey at 3B. Of course if we don't sign Weeks to an extension then I guess you keep Lawrie at 2B.

After he found the zone Axford did a nice job. 96 on the fastball with a good hook. I like it.
  9. BrewCrewForever
Best thing about today's game. Axford's mustache. By far.
  10. BrewCrewForever
Wow, Hart actually gets a hold of one. Too bad Vargas blew up last inning. Only down 4 now.

That is really funny, because it is so true. If Edmonds ever steps foot in CF again I will be very disappointed. Of course Grandpa Macha will continue to trot him out there. I have no problem with Edmonds playing RF, but only Gomez and Gerut should get time in CF. With Gomez getting the majority. And the way Corey Hart is playing defense and swinging the bat right now I hope Edmonds and Gerut get the majority of the starts in RF.

Brewers keep the game close for 6 innings and then BOOM! The 7th inning comes and the bullpen wets the bed. This is getting old.
  13. BrewCrewForever
Axford's mustache is another reason to like him. That thing is a beauty.
  14. BrewCrewForever
Its' getting to a point where it is funny. How can this team be this bad in their home park. Oof.
  15. BrewCrewForever
Lineup's per Adam McCalvy's "Brew Beat" blog: Weeks 2B Counsell SS Braun LF Fielder 1B McGehee 3B Edmonds CF Zaun C Hart RF Narveson P Victorino CF Polanco 3B Utley 2B Howard 1B Werth RF Ibanez LF Valdez SS Hoover C Blanton P Hmm, Edmonds back in CF again. I guess Granpa Macha fell asleep during the game last night and didn't see how awful he was. No SOUP FOR YOU Jody Gerut. Man, I can't WAIT for Gomez to be back.
  16. BrewCrewForever
Yeah, I to am kind of hoping it is Suppan. I hope Axford makes the Brewers brass decision tough by coming up and having some good performances out of the pen.
  17. BrewCrewForever
I believe this is going to be hot since Strasburg will have his RC in the set.
  18. BrewCrewForever
I like the move, Axford has pitched well in Nashville and figures to be in our pen next season anyway. Nice to see him up now. I just wonder what move they make when Gomez comes off the DL next week.
  19. BrewCrewForever
The offense has had their down days, not doubt about that. But the pitching like last season has been the biggest problem with this team.
  20. BrewCrewForever
I think this game showed how big of turds Corey Hart and Manny Parra are. They make so many mental mistakes and they screw up the most routine plays. As far as Edmonds, I have not problem with him getting some starts in RF, but he should NEVER play CF again. Can't wait for Gomez to be back.
  21. BrewCrewForever
Well we had that one fun inning and not is is really frustrating to watch.
  22. BrewCrewForever
Agreed 100%, Gomez has been fantastic in CF, and not too bad at the plate so far this season. I believe he is coming off the DL on May 21. I could be off a day or two.
  23. BrewCrewForever
Wondering why Edmonds was playing so shallow on that hit by Victorino.
  24. BrewCrewForever
Alright Grandpa Ken, how long you planing on leaving Wolf in?
  25. BrewCrewForever
To be fair, the Phillies are capable of making a lot of pitchers look like Looper. No doubt. I was just frustrated.
