Guess Yo is gonna have to help himself just like he did last year vs. Pittsburgh. Edit: I called it! -
Our first Dave Kerwin sighting of the game.
-
Gallardo looking pretty good tonight so far. Still wish he could get ahead of more hitters and keep the pitch count down.
-
McGehee is having a rough start to the season defensively.
-
Zaun must have had a few too many Labatt Blues before the game.
-
Bobby V. would be awesome. But I just don't think they will go after him. And I am not sure if he would come to Milwaukee. Seems like if he gets back in it will be in a bigger market. Just a hunch I have.
-
It seem Bush has put Macha in a "zim-zam".
-
I guess though if they do fire Macha at some point we have to look at either Randolph or Sveum managing the team. And I am not to thrilled about either of those options. I still wish Frank Kremblas would have gotten a chance to manage this club.
-
Hey at least we are not getting no-hit that is about the only positive thing I can say about this game.
-
Amen Hammer. I would say the one thing that Kendall was good at was framing a pitch. Other then that not much difference between he and Zaun. As for Macha, he stinks. Just a joke.
-
Wells is getting that pitch. Bush is not.
-
At this point if we score 3 or 4 runs I feel like we had a small victory.
-
The 360 F Bomb was one of his most redeeming qualities. I was a HUGE fan of the 360 F-Bomb.
-
Good idea Corey. It's just to bad Zaun is up next.
-
At least someone is. Macha sure the hell isn't going to go out there an question the ump and ruffle any feathers. He wouldn't want to get put into a "zim-zam".
-
Zaun reminds me of Kendall circa 2007 when he had that awful year throwing out runners. This is garbage. Down 5-0 in the 2nd and our bats have scored 2 runs in the previous two games. Not good.
-
I think I am going to follow Rev. SeriesFinale's lead...except it's raining here. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif Yeah, if it wasn't rainy here I would be cutting the grass today. It needs it. Wow, Zaun stinks at throwing out runners. Hey ump, consistency in the strike zone would be nice.

I hate Ryan Theriot. They can't get that guy out.

Suppan to the bullpen; Narveson to start
BrewCrewForever replied to brewtown82's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
I'm with you Fear The Chorizo, I would much rather just see Suppan dumped so Stetter can come back up to be our LOOGY. I would LOVE to see Braddock up, but not quite yet. -
Suppan to the bullpen; Narveson to start
BrewCrewForever replied to brewtown82's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
I would rather of Parra as well, but Parra has been good out of the pen while Narveson has struggled. Maybe they feel Narveson will be better starting. I know last year Narveson seemed to struggle out of the pen and when he got starts down the stretch he pitched much better. -
Yup, I am wondering though if it is gonna be blacked out on TBS because it is on FSWI. I hope not, I always like to watch the national broadcast when the Brewers are on to see what other people are saying about the team and players.

The "Narveson to the Rotation" thread
BrewCrewForever replied to brewtown82's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
I'm not sure he is pitching himself off the team, but he sure is not making a case to be the 5th starter. If they decide to kick Suppan out of that role looks like Parra will get the nod. -
Macha: would a mid-season change be appropriate?
BrewCrewForever replied to prophet's topic in Milwaukee Brewers Talk
As much as I despised Yost, at least he looked like he gave a damn. Showed some fire and wasn't afraid to stick up for players when there was a bad call or a poor strike zone. I was actually surprised when Macha came out of the dugout Friday night when Prince hit what looked like a HR. -
This made me laugh...made me think of "Mallrats". Hopefully someone knows what I'm thinking of. Yup it's from Mallrats. That is what I was going for. I hoped someone else got the joke.

Some pretty pathetic performances vs the Cubs so far this season. It is really depressing and frustrating.
