If Gallardo can get this pitch count issue under control, sky is the limit. He has such good stuff which we all know, but man these deep counts and high pitch innings have to stop. -
That a boy Zaun! Nice.
-
I hate this ump.
-
They were playing trivia between innings at MP and asked a kid to identify the Brewer with the middle name Diego...of the 3 choices he named Edmonds...it was really Gerut. The IGT was all over it and it stuck and I haven't been able to get that "Go Diego Go" song out of my head since. Ah, I see. Haha, thanks SoCal.
-
Wheeewww, got the run back! Good hustle Braun.
-
Would be nice if Yo can have a quick 5th so he can go at least 6 tonight. Lets get him some runs boys!
-
Okay, I have seen the "Diego" nickname for Edmonds on here for awhile now. I missed it, where did that come from?
-
Yet the ump gave Jackson that same corner.and called yo out on it at the plate Yup, and Yo walked away probably thinking he to would get that corner. Guess not. Call it both ways BLUE!
-
Yet the ump gave Jackson that same corner.

I love Gallardo, but man he frustrates the hell out of me. Of course Reynolds struck out and the ump called strike three a ball.
-
This ump is pretty inconsistent on the outside corner strike.
-
And now Yo can't find the zone. Great.
-
Capuano another strong outing. 5 IP, 6 Hits, 1 R (Earned), 5 K's and 0 BB's.
-
No kidding, he looks like the Hawkins that stunk for the Cubs, not the Hawkins that was pretty good in Minnesota and Houston.
-
Good job Vargas! Hey Grandpa Macha, get someone up in the pen! Really wish they would have just let Bush hit for himself last inning.
-
Wow, this has been such a frustrating game tonight. That awful error by Prince and not being able to hit no name John Ely. 2 hits, no base runners since the 2nd. Jeez. And now Vargas is in ans stinking it up.

1. Weeks - 2B 2. Zaun/Kottaras - C 3. Braun - LF 4. Fielder - 1B 5. McGehee - 3B 6. Hart/Edmonds - RF 7. Escobar - SS 8. Gomez - CF 9. Pitcher If Edmonds is in CF and Hart in RF then Escobar bats 8th and Hart bats 7th. Just my thoughts.
-
It was only A+ ball, but very encouraging how well he pitched. Be interesting to see how he fairs at AAA in Nashville. I have always liked Cappy, really rooting for him to make it all the way back at some point.
-
Zaun has been hitting better and Kottaras in limited time seems to be able to get on base. Why not bat the catcher in the 2 hole? Just a thought.
-
He has been quite good this season, I never thought he would bounce back. I still think the Cy Young will come down to Halladay, Jimenez and Lincecum though.
-
Why can't Macha just put Gomez at 8? It just doesn't make sense. It's not that Carlos playing bad, but he just should not be batting 2nd. He would be fine down at 8th. Macha just puzzles me sometimes.
-
When I got home from my softball game the first thing I looked for was him behind the plate in the tropical jersey. Haha. And yeah, his reaction to the Fielder HR was awesome.
-
LouisEly, very jealous of those seats. Those are awesome. Are you going to today or tomorrow's game as well?

Mid-season trades if we're sellers
BrewCrewForever replied to monty57's topic in Transaction Rumors & Proposals
If we are sellers I say move Fielder, Hoffman, Davis, Zaun, Edmonds and anyone else on a 1 year deal I can;t think of right now. Of course Prince will bring the best and most important return of players but the others should net us something. Then call up the kids to play Gamel, Lucroy, Braddock and a few others. -
Grandpa Macha needs a meal at Perkins and then a long nap.
