  1. I love Skyline chili, but I consider it like spaghetti. I also like Grippos BBQ chips, speaking of Cincinnati.
  2. The hell does that mean?
  3. I would much rather listen to drums and a horn than the constant wooing in Cincinnati and Pittsburgh.
  4. I went to the game on Monday night and my belt buckle set the metal detector off. Ive been wearing the same belt for the past 7-8 years and this is the first time thats happened. Its just your ordinary little buckle too, not one of those big ones some people wear. So I found that odd. As for guns, I would go with one a series. Roughly 25 for the season but thats a complete guess.
  5. Zero championships in 50 years will do that to you.
  6. Yup, I just told my father an hour ago that Shaw would hit one out and have a big game so that we'll be stuck with him another month lol.
  7. http://brewers.brochure-mlb.com/2019-10packs/q0lcj935?partnerId=ed-13256373-1106733793 Hopefully that works for you. This was emailed to me by my rep, but ended up in the trash folder, so that might be something to look for. A big change that is noted is that they took away the free opening day if you do the flex plan. It is still included on the preset plans.
  8. Its kind of nice I can watch this as a fan of neither team and just enjoy it. I cant even imagine how my heart would be able to handle 18 innings of a Brewers World Series game. Though I guess I would have liked to found out.
  9. So much for that. This thing is going to go all night, or until atleast someone musters up the energy to jack one out.
  10. Yeah, I'm still up here. I have no idea how long this can keep going for. Quite the game though. I dread that Manfred will overreact to a World Series game ending in the wee hours of the morning and implement some crazy extra inning rule.
  11. Its Jonathan Schoops birthday today. You cant have the birthday boy on the bench lol.
  12. It would be funny to see Marlins Man and Front Row Amy, in a battle to see who gets the most attention if the Brewers make the World Series.
  13. It was the same scenario at the bucks-bulls playoff game I went to a few years back. For whatever reason, it didnt cross my mind that it would be the same atmosphere. Nothing like walking down the Bradley Center stairs to a loud chorus of Bucks suck raining down on you.
  14. I saw last night Oliver Drake became the first player since 1884 to play for five different teams in a season. How he keeps getting picked up by another team is beyond me.
  15. Don't forget about 2001, where the Crew went into Pittsburgh with a 38-34 record and fresh off a sweep against the Cubs at Wrigley. They lost all four, proceeding to go 9-31 in their next 40 games. I can remember the final game of that series, Pittsburgh won 1-0. The Brewers had the bases loaded and no one out in the top of the 9th and in typical fashion, proceeded not to score.
  16. Between the fans in St. Louis, Pittsburgh, and Cincinnati, we sure get our doses of this. I wish this trend will die one day, makes listening to the game insufferable.
  17. We've been had...
  18. I can remember 2004 like it was yesterday. We just swept Colorado to go to 41-34 on July 1 and had a one game lead in the Wild Card. I thought it was so cool, because the brewers were actually playoff contenders into July. As I recall, Junior Spivey got hurt in the next series against Pittsburgh and it went downhill from there. We actually finished with a worse record than 2003.
  19. Please win today so I can stop thinking about that four game sweep by the Pirates that derailed our season back in 2001. For whatever reason, that has popped up in my mind.
  20. As far as watching, I only get to watch the handful of games that I see in person, as I dont have cable. As far as listening to the radio, I rarely miss a game.
  21. I was 16 days old, not knowing what it was to experience a brewers loss yet.
  22. Do I get a trophy? haha I don't post often but Im a daily reader. While this season had its downs, it was still better than those seasons in the early 2000s. Looking forward to the playoffs and to next season already. I'll root for the Athletics in the playoffs, since I always did like them as my AL team.
  23. Braun could come flat out and say that he took PEDs and people would still be defending him...Lets say that this was Yadier Molina instead of Braun, would anyone have different opinions?
