    Tom H seems to believe that Mets will probably need to move past desire not to move Rosario and Smith. I'd be fine with a Rosario and Tom Szapucki deal for Lucroy.... maybe on lottery ticket as a throw in. Really getting feeling we on here strongly over value what his market is and the Indian trade shows that. That was the best deal DS had on table while talking to many different clubs...

    So a catcher prospect who has a chance to be very good is significantly worse than a Comp Pick? Mejia will be better than any comp pick. He will be one of the top 3 best catching prospects in baseball by next year. He hits & plays D. People are fools if they something sooo much better is coming. You see the trash Mets are offering? If that was the best DS felt he could get with multiple teams competing.... Why would we get more now?

    Gallo in Miler Park will hit 40 Hrs but it is troubling that he is k'ing at a 40%+ rate in 130 PA in MLB. Only 22. Could be a guy it takes until 24-26 to really click but when he does....my lord. He can be a home run for us. Like Gomez, some guys just take awhile to figure it out. To me, you always take a chance on the star potential. Gallo and Brinson are two guys who could be elite players if they figure it out. Profar doesn't have the service time. He is a guy you would flip in future before we are competitive again. Mazara we won't touch. He is too young producing in a big way for them! Gallo and Brinson are still guys who haven't shown to help them at all now. Gallo has been blocked, up and down and hasnt gotten the abs he needs to settle in. Give Rangers Luc, Smith, Guerra and clean up their system in that blockbuster! Get Gallo, Brinson, Tate, and some more high talent arms not named Ortiz who will eat his way out of a career....Ortiz will be our Perry with higher ceiling....same weight problem.

    Woodruff was a pretty talented HS arm and was drafted in 5th round with signability issues... Got to Mississippi State and just couldn't stay healthy or really get it going but the arm talent has always been there! Now he is really starting to show it! 7IP 10 Ks!

    Ever read the responses most guys like him get on twitter? I dont blame him, that place is a cesspool. I just use it to follow news and sports and I never tweet. He is not that way with my tweets so i dont see him that way Yeah never have problem with him. Respect matches respect & disrespect matches disrespect. If you tweet of chat with him in a nice respectful way, most often he will respond back in the same manner. Hard to hate on him, he has the job most of us on here would love to have. Being the inside guy to the Brewers....nice gig & he has held if for awhile now. Personally though, I prefer Adam over Tom. As for the trade.... at this point, if the competition has heated up with as many teams that are rumored....I don't foresee the hull being disappointing. At worst I am guessing we get a guy in the other teams Top 2-3 range guy, another in the 6-8 range with at least one younger wildcard. This is him alone mind you. If Boston is team I'd want Devers or Kopech Then for sure Roniel Raudes If you can get more out of them great but if you can land Devers or Kopech and mix in Raudes who is going to be a big time prospect in next few seasons.... I like it a lot. Lucroy for Kopech, Chavis, Raudes = me very happy

    Yuck but could work...won't be exciting at all. Stewart would need to be the headliner. His power and ability to walk are up there with the best in all of the Minors. He is also doing it in FSL which is not the most power hitter friendly league out there. Joe Jimenez is one of the top Milb closers out there & should be included. Gerson Moreno is a 20 RP who would be nice add in... Im not overally impressed with Burrows but must add him to be able to get anything done. 19 year old and understand pitching like DS likes. Tyler Alexander or Matt Hall could be decent lefty SP to mix in. Lucroy for Beau Burrows Christian Stewart Joe Jimenez could possibly do it, but just not sexy at all. Young talent is hard to find in that system....

    Hader & Arcia fight for #1 votes Isan Diaz skyrockets to #3 depending on who all come over in trade. Woodruff has most helium of any player in system right now I think. Should receive some pretty high votes

    If it's Indians, I see no way Smith, Jeffress, or Thornburg are attached. They want backend arms so bad right now, we have them & they are controllable. Their system lines up so well & they can afford to give up a lot & still be in great shape. They have terrific scouting department. Frazier over Zimmer. Zimmer is extremely explosive with his bat & as an athlete but not feeling another extremely high K guy. Mejia next to Cisco from Os is one of my favorite catching prospects in Milb. Kid can rack! He is a must. Pitchers..... Outside of Clevering & Sheffield, take your pick. Mckenzie & Hillman scream DS guys.

    Mckenzie and Mejia are locks for me, be disappointed to not get both or at least one of them

    Deadline really need to pass. just want it over and see what we get. Outside of DBacks making awful DBack trades, the market for RP is very high. Lucroy I am starting to get the feeling isn't going anywhere. Yankees are killing the Brewers right now with Miller and Chapman, get those two off market and Smith/Jeffress stocks goes through roof.

    Mr. Flanigan, with the recent promotions, please do not forget about Ghelfi. Guy has been an absolute monster and really has zero left to prove in A ball. Lol geez that guy is just flat out on FIRE right now! Free Ghelfi! Not to mention guy plays some tough baseball. Last game I went to, he went full Prince Fielder and absolute smoked the Catcher at home.....took a few minutes to get the catcher back up and moving! Erceg..... 3 hit night..... the usual for him! Fun stats since 2nd half of season mark Troy Stokes .304 .444 .456 .900 4 2B - 13B - 2 HR Jake Gatewood 8 2B - 3 HR - 18 RBI -7BB ...... had only 3 bbs in 1st half. hitting .260/.300/ .730... not great turning corner though Isan Diaz .316 .393 .633 1.026 with 6 2B, 2 3B, 7 HRS, 12 BB, 17 RBI Problem I have seen with Gatewood and teams I think are attacking him like crazy with it is he greatly struggles with outside pitches....If I was a pitcher, I would through all sliders on the outside of the plate and know he won't touch them. Maybe that is me from what I have notice from going to watch him but yeah, you can tell he is a pull guy who wants something inside.

    That'd be amazing but not sure. Mejia is on like a 36 game hit streak & will probably be a top 5 catcher in all Milb by the off season. Mckenzie has looked really good as well to match ceiling

    How about a: Lucroy For Mckenzie, Mejia, Hillman, & a wild card? We know DS loves guys who throw strikes & get on base. Hillman & Mckenzie are extremely young, green, projectable & most important can pitch/throw strikes. Mejia is a high average & obp guy who will likely be a top catching prospect sooner than later. Diaz is a solid AAA 3b option, not much pop but lives on base. Chang has upside & we know DS loves 2b/SS players. Love what Bradley offers but boy 109 Ks half way through the season. Only hitting .245. So many pluses but could be Carter 2.0. Young for level & still .380 obp but has his red flags. Aiken is shaking off rust but hasn't been sharp. I'd still gladly roll dice on him. Cleveringer fits the last few trades. Really wanted Kaminsky last year for Lind but boy Ks have disappeared & BBs are high. Frazier isn't the athlete Zimmer is but I'd take him. Zimmer when he makes contact kills ball but Ks are through the roof. Frazier is younger & best overall hitter imo Don't think Clevland will do a trade for Lucroy but system has tons of exciting options for the to go out & buy if they wanted to.

    Diplan, Peralta, & Mederois all at BC..... Try to find another rotation that young in A+! Peralta is hopefully really changing some peoples minds about the Lind trade

    Indians want to be real contenders & make a big boy move, they have to pony up. You can't tell teams your top 4-5 guys are off the table and expect to get one of the top players on the market. It's the cost of business & buying at deadline. You sell out for your prize. I can live without Zimmer or Frazier. But Aiken & Bradley need to be on the table for me. Can't nickel & dime to get All-Star players.

    Troy Stokes has been back to playing like Troy Stokes now 100% healthy. See a lot of Michael Reed in his game & will probably always fly under radar like Reed. With these Wisconsin kids I'm only following 2nd half stats now. They are all 20 & went through adjustment periods & dealt with the usual weather issues to start. They are all coming around! Gatewood has 5bbs already in July!

    I'll still pass on Ortiz, until he shows any ability to control his weight and keep it down I'll take other talented pitchers such as Mendez and Jurado

    Isan Diaz is really vaulting himself with Diplan as top 10 locks for me. Tyrone Taylor starting to save his stock. Gatewood walked twice other day (increasing total 20% in one game) & has really been turning it on. Diaz's bat is really getting exciting. I don't think the .300 average .400 obp, and .900+ ops is a fluke at all.... Kid just barrels everything up & smokes ball. Great eye at plate as well.

    Aggressive placement but really age wise, he is slready older than the Helena & Wisconsin OFs & more polished. Makes sense. Hope people don't get on him if he struggles since it is BC & a nightmare for hitters

    And Barack Obama is a Muslim and non citizen... These things get started and spread, doesn't mean they have any merit. Makes no sense for him to lie. He isn't Danny Almonte's dad trying to get edge in little league or a Dominican needed to lie to get signed. Thon didn't even start playing bball until like 11. Didn't realize it was a potential future until 14-15 years old. So one day he was 14 or 15 and he picked up a basketball and then asked his parents to move him & change his age to 11-12 so in 7-8 years I'd stand a better chance to be drafted? I'm sure his basketball career & age was the most important thing when trying to survive & escape a civil war..... All makes sense.....Up until yesterday morning, his age had never been in doubt. Hammond said he is 19, to think the Bucks & NBA didn't do all their home work would be crazy. The NBA went through all his transcripts during process to enter draft. Moreover, his body is still pretty underdeveloped making 19 much more realistic than 23.

    Lol, no sure what else there is to say. We have Monroe, Henson, Plumlee are our only bigs really. Monroe may be traded l, Pumlee is RFA and Henson will never average over 18-20 minutes a game. So we have too many Bigs? Also you argument is useless because Maker with a little bulk is absolutely perfect for the new small ball NBA area. A 7'0 guy who is athletic, run floor, handle ball, block shots and stretch floor..... Please tell me hoe that doesn't fit?
