  1. Am I sad that Powell is leaving? Yes. Can I fault a guy for taking a job that takes him back to where he is from. No. We all would have loved for Powell to take over when Uecker is done, but I just think the only perfect job came along for Jim. I wish him nothing but the best. Now hopefully the Brewers don't hire a bad announcer to replace him.
  2. Bat has been sold. Can sell other stuff if anyone has interest.
  3. Well I'm willing to sell the bat for $80 if anyone is interested. Definitely below what I payed for it, but I need the cash. Can also still sell any of the other stuff I haven't sold. Price is negotiable.
  4. If that blog entry holds any truth, I'm not sure I would hold out hope of CC being in a Brewers uni next year. I can't imagine the player's union would look too kindly on one of their own taking what amount to a discount to resign with the Brewers. I guess this offseason will come down to resigning Sheets and/or trading for a top tier SP like Peavy or Cain.
  5. It's too bad there just isn't another option out there that's better than Cameron. What alot of people I've talked to fail to realize is that Cameron makes the hard plays look easy. I can be sure that not many players would have even layed a glove on the ball hit to CF in NLDS that Cameron dropped. Just the fact that he got to the ball shocked me. Defense is terribly underrated by alot of people. Cameron will be fine in CF in 2009 if the only other option is TGJ. I too stopped reading the comments over at JS Blogs because there are many who seem to criticize no matter what the team does. At least here, we can come together and have an intelligent conversation about stuff.
  6. Added the following items to ebay if anyone is interested: http://shop.ebay.com/merchant/crispy34_W0QQ_in_kwZ1
  7. Since I'm not seeing much interest here; Anyone have any suggestions on which things will be good to put on ebay? I really can't afford to waste any money at this point and any help would be greatly appreciated.

  9. Don't have any of those I can sell. Have one Braun, but is my wife's fav, so that's one I have to keep or face the consequences.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif
  10. Well I really don't want to sell anything but when you need money to medical bills, sacrifices must be made. The bat is signed and comes with a COA. I am moving some bobbleheads too. List is below. If you need any bobbles I probably would consider moving some of them too. I have alot of the Brewers giveaway ones, a minor league one and some other team bobbles. Anyways, would like to give people from Brewerfan the change to get this stuff before I go the way of ebay. Prices listed below. If interested just drop me a message and we'll work something out.
  11. I have an autographed Ned Yost helmet that looks like the third one. If anyone's interested let me know.
  12. Jamie sent you a PM. Pedro same, we've talked you know I'm one of those outastaters. Thanks if anyone can help.
  13. Any of these places have websites since I am nowhere close to Milwaukee area?
  14. Just thought I'd throw this out there and see if anyone can help. I'm looking for a bat display case to properly display an autographed bat. Anyone have one or are there any good sites out there that won't charge 2 arms and 2 legs for a case?
  15. All I'm looking for is Saturday's game now. Would love to bid on Mark's tix but just don't have that much extra I can send to charity. If there is someone out there that we can work something out for I'm more than willing to work on a trade. Have various Brewer pix, auto'd and then a bunch of bobbleheads. Hope to hear from someone.
  16. I am making the trek to WI to visit family and am looking to see if anyone have tickets they would be willing to trade for Brewers items. The following are the games I would be looking at getting tickets for. Would be looking for 2 or 4 tickets. Sat. Sept. 6 vs. SD If you have any tickets that we could work out something for I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks for reading!
  17. I don't post over at Lambeau Leap so I thought I'd throw this up here and see if there's anyone out there that could help. My wife and I are coming to Milwaukee from Michigan and had interest in going to the Packer/Viking game. I can use my paypal account but that has proved to be a way I keep striking out. If you can help and are not looking to get rich off of your tickets, I would be interested. Only need 2 tickets. PM me if you can help. Thanks to all of you that make this site so awesome!
  18. Good to see there are good Cubs fans out there. I seem to get seated next to the drunk, swearing ones in the past when I've been to Crew/Cubs games. A little healthy discussion is good. It's when the trolls of the message boards come out that makes us get the perceptions of Cubs fan we do. Here's to a great series, although I hope the Cubs are ripe for a Braun led thrashing. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif Go Crew and get to that Cubs pen early and often!
  19. Well Gagne has pitched good of late and I hope he continues to do that. I am supremely superstitious when it comes to watching Brewers games especially when BA is spouting his stuff. But my wife has disliked Eric for most of the year. She turns to me last night and says 'I'm starting to like Gagne again.' I looked at her straight faced and said, 'No, you still dislike him!' I want him to continue to pitch good as he has since the break. I will do everything I can in my distorted mind to make sure that continues.
  20. So is the game even televised on MLB.tv or are we out of market folks just stuck with the radio feed?
  21. So Doug said Roberts wasn't available? So does that mean something is going to happen soon? Since we all have learned how to Melvin-speak over the years. While I love Roberts and it would be great to see someone others than Weeks and his Ks in there; I fully agree with those that have posted about how it seems it would take an offer of Weeks plus one of the top prospects. I'm not sure Roberts is worth giving up that much. We are also talking about delusional owner Peter Angelos here. He always seems to want to get the best players for his guys. I'm surprised they didn't ask for Oswalt when they traded Tejada. I say that in jest but it seems pretty evident that Roberts is one of his favorites. Somehow Ray Durham doesn't make me excited as much as getting Roberts would as it would also be a slap in the face to the Cubs.
  22. While Weeks shows signs of life every once in a while, we clearly need an upgrade at second base. If they can get Roberts for him, by all means get it done Doug. We are going for the playoffs. We aren't the 2004 version of the Brewers where we can continually keep a guy and hope he gets better. Sigh, but alas I have a feeling this isn't something Melvin will do.
  23. And Corey makes it. Powell just said it, Corey talking to the media right now. Great job everyone who voted!
