  1. Maybe because they are synched up is the reason for the audio only being messed up.
  2. It's like every time they cue the microphone the sounds comes on. Shoot, I wish I didn't hear the sound on that Casey shot, a Brewer killer strikes again.
  3. Anyone else listening on MLB Radio and having the sound cutting in and out?
  4. Need some advice guys. As I've said, I'm here in Columbus, OH. The girlfriend just offered to buy me the ML Extra Innings package for cable cause she sees how much it is killing me to not be able to watch. Is this worthwhile? How many Crew games will I actually be able to see?
  5. Is it bad now that I'm in Ohio and can't be there for the excitement, that's I'm sitting here listening to the game on MLB Radio and drinking? By the way, can we spot killing innings with all this aggressiveness.....sheesh!
  6. Well it's the last home game of the year. It's the free admission game and the Brewers are at .500. So many tears. But only 185 days till opening day 2006!!!! Gary Glover takes to the mound for the Crew opposed by Reds lefty Eric Milton. I'll be there once again today. Tailgating will feel like Opening Day. Not much else I can say except Go Crew!! Game will be on FSN North today. Reds SP: Eric Milton - 8-14, 6.62 era 3-1, 3.94 era in 5 career games vs. Crew Brewers SP: Gary Glover - 4-4, 6.47 era 1-0, 3.38 era in 2 career games vs. Reds
  7. The Crew looks to once again knock around the Reds. Brewers starting pitcher Chris Capuano goes for win #19 tonight as he will be opposed by Reds righty Aaron Harang. I'm excited cause I will be there in person. If Cappy wins tonight he will only become the fourth pitcher in Brewer history to win 19 games(Teddy Higuera, Mike Caldwell and Jim Colborn). Game will once again be on FSN North and the Brewers Radio Network. Reds SP: Aaron Harang - 10-13, 3.79 era 2-2, 5.35 era in 6 career starts vs Crew Brewers SP: Chris Capuano - 18-10, 3.80 era 1-2, 5.89 era in 3 career starts vs Reds
  8. Ok everyone, take a collective deep breath. Or for some of us cue up the defibulator again as the Crew once again take to the field for the second game of four against the Reds. Brandon Claussen takes the hill for the Reds opposing Crew crafty vet Rick Helling. Lets hope they saved some runs for tonight. It's always a crazy time when the Crew plays the Reds. Game will be on FSN North and the Brewers radio network with Harry Doyle and Monty.......errr......I mean Uke and Jim Powell. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif Reds SP: Brandon Claussen - 10-9 3.91 era on the season Career vs. Crew - 1-3, 6.82 era in 7 games Brewers SP Rick Helling - 2-1 2.51 era on the year Career vs. CIN - 1-1, 1.02 era in 6 games
  9. Keeping with the Homer J. Simpson theme. I'm doing the walking circle on the floor right now going 'Whoo-hoo!'
  10. Nothing like a nice easy ninth. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
  11. The defibulator comments was so true for me.......jeez......the small crowd is fired up!!!
  12. Apparently we don't have a guy who can throw more than one strike to a batter......sheesh.......it's D-bow time right now.....lol.....
  13. The Brewers look to keep series victories coming when they open a four game series tonight versus the Cincinnati Reds at Miller Park. After being held scoreless again in a Doug Davis start the Brewers will look to put together some offense for starter Tomo Ohka.. .He wil be opposed by Reds starter Ramon Ortiz. The Reds have lost four of six following a three-game winning streak. Brewers lead the season series 7-5. Game tonight will be on FSN North. I love starting these threads now! Go Crew, only 5 more to 82! Brewers starter: Tomo Ohka - 11-8 with a 3.93 era in 2005 2-1 with a 3.13 ERA in his last four starts 4-2 with a 3.06 ERA in seven starts against the Reds. Reds starter: Ramon Ortiz - 9-11 with a 5.11 era in 2005 1-0 with a 2.28 ERA in last three starts. Ortiz is 3-2 with a 4.68 era in 5 appearances against the Crew.
  14. The Brewers look to end this series on a high note after winning in a nail biter last night. Doug Davis goes to the mound looking for his 12th win. He will be opposed by Jeff Suppan, who has owned the Crew is his career with 10 victories. This season versus the Crew he is 3-0 with a 1.71 era. Davis, after taking 14 appearances to get his 10th victory, is 2-0 with a 2.37 era in his last 3 starts. Game with be on Telemundo or so it says. Not going to mention the other thing, you know, but don't say!!
  15. And with that, the Weather channel meets brewers fans!
  16. Can't believe no one has started a thread yet. This the first time I've started a game thread. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif I'm so excited because of the way the crowd was crazy last night in the 7th inning when Lee K'd. GO CREW! TV/RADIO The Brewers will once again be on FSN North. If you would rather listen to the brewers tune in to the crew on the milwaukee brewers radio network. Prior's first start versus the Crew this year. (2-2, 3.86 in 7 career starts) Ohka is 1-1 career vs. Cubs with a 7.36 era including yielding five runs and nine hits in 6 2/3 innings of a 5-4 loss on June 20. The Crew holds an 8-6 lead in the season series, including a 6-2 edge at Miller Park
  17. Oh don't get me wrong I know he's up. I just found it strange that the Brewers weren't putting forth any effort to have an announcement or something on the website. I am one who wants to see Rickie in there tonight. Why bring him up if he's not going to play.
  18. Anyone else noticed this, but the only place I don't see anything about Weeks coming up is on the Brewers website itself. Maybe I'm just missing it that just seemed a little strange to me.
  19. It's amazing what Nedley throws out on the field now a days. Helms, Magruder, Durrington, Bennett......now there's 12 out of the game.....man. Does Ned(http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/tired.gif ) even care about winning these days? It surely doesn't seem like it. I don't care if they're battlers. Winning is more important Nedley. Your best hitter should be in there everyday, LHP or not. And Helms? HAHA.....DFA ur boy cause he sucks! I am a total Brewers fan and will be for a long time, but it's stuff like this that really ticks me off. *Sigh*
  20. Well let's hope this game doesn't come down to Chris Magruder hitting a home run to win it. The Vampire takes the mound once again doing his best jeckel and hyde impersonation. But let's hope (and lately pray) that the offense can find a way to outscore our opponents for a third straight game. Go Brewers!
