  1. WTH Davis. Show a little patience dude. I hate when hitters are over-aggressive at the plate when the offense is in a good spot. 1st and 2nd with 1 out. The pressure is on the pitcher, not the hitter.
  2. Gomez just hit it too hard. Good idea though. Most 3B would panic in that situation and try to rush the throw. I'm trying to remember the last time Gomez bunted for a hit. It's not the strongest part of his game. But I'm listening and can't see where the 3d baseman is playing. I remember Gomez trying to bunt frequently, but I don't remember him being successful at it. He should work on it. With his speed, bunting could be a valuable addition to his arsenal.

  4. no but he looks like he's afraid to make solid contact, hasn't taken a real big solid hack at anything like he used to any once in awhile, granted this is all off 2 at bats so it could be nothing I get the bad feeling he may be shut down for a bit. Maybe he should take a week off. I hope this doesn't become a long-term issue.
  5. Unusually aggressive lineup from RRR for a series finale. Maybe he's had a change of heart and will try to go for the sweep for once.
  6. Are the Brewers going with a full lineup today or is RRR trotting out the usual Sunday special? Braun in or out?
  7. I just don't know if they have enough to get past St. Louis. I hate them, but the Lards are stacked. Hopefully the Brewers surprise us.
  8. Cincinnati hasn't started out the year so hot. I think they fall short of 90 wins this year. I don't think Pittsburgh is going to win 94 games again. I don't Atlanta has enough in the tank to make it. The Giants are probably the biggest threat to the Brewers for the wild card.
  9. thriller of a game. i was not expecting the brewers to take 2 out of 3 in boston. a sweep would be awesome
  10. Agreed, but would the Brewers actually hire someone of that caliber even if they fired Roenicke--and Melvin? Doubtful. You're right. I don't think they would spend big money on a guy like Francona. Would you try and convince Jim Leyland to come out of retirement?
  11. I've got a bad feeling about this game. Too many wasted opportunities. Base loaded 2 outs in the 10th and the 1st and 3rd with 0 outs back in the 6th. Knowing how unlucky the Brewers are, I wouldn't be surprised if the Sox win on a walkoff by some bum like Napoli or Nava. I hope they prove me wrong and rock Badenhop next inning.
  12. Not really. His list of blunders is long enough to stretch from Wisconsin to Michigan. He's without a doubt one of the worst managers this team has ever had. Consistently poor lineup and bullpen decisions, bad at defensive adjustments, bad at substitutions, and low baseball IQ. http://i.imgur.com/RaTdtfq.gif Lol Jennifer Lawrence can disagree with me all she wants.
  13. About 27 out of the 30 MLB managers fit that category. So many decisions in baseball are subjective. RR has his issues, but he does more right than the does wrong. The Red Sox announcers have been praising the Brewers all series for their aggressiveness at the plate and on the bases. Most MLB managers are pretty mediocre. Roenicke is another goof in a long line of goofs. IMO Francona is the best manager in MLB by far.
  14. Boston is lucky to be in this game. Brewers should have a nice lead by now.

  16. Hyperbole much? And he was easily safe. Don't know why it wasn't challenged. Also, the challenge system is stupid. Add this latest blunder to the long list of blunders that fool has made. Roenicke should've been gone a long time ago. There's no justification for not challenging. Imagine if the umpires had overturned the call. Brewers would've had 7 runs. That extra run would have them in the lead instead of tied.
  17. Not challenging a close call like that is reason enough to fire Roenicke immediately. How the heck do you not challenge that? You need every run you can get in a game like this. Not challenging the call could comeback to haunt the Brewers.
  18. First of all what a stupid call to send Gomez home. Second, Roenicke needs to challenge that. Pierzynski was blocking plate and Gomez beat the throw. Even if the Brewers lose the challenge, it still needs to be challenged.
  19. Sucks that a good performance by Willy has been ruined by poor defense.
  20. Thanks Segura and Aramis. You're fumbleitis cost the team 3 runs.
