  1. Last year it was Nori Cheeky Aoki lol funny mistake. scully is a legend though. just like uecker he's earned the right to make some mistakes. imagine a broadcast team of ueck and scully?
  2. He allowed a few crushed balls that Dodger park held in for him I've been watching but not really watching at the same time. So really he should have conceded 4 or 5 runs tonight?
  3. since im in vegas i have to watch the dodgers broadcast. vin scully keeps calling aoki norichi and norichiky lol
  4. nice game from Burgos tonight. dodgers have a good lineup. holding a good lineup to just 3 runs is not bad at all.
  5. http://img811.imageshack.us/img811/7017/3qj9yb.jpg jimmies have been rustled for a while now. the guy is just frustrating to watch.
  6. It was just one of those nights. San Diego's pitching was nasty tonight. Disappointing that one guy ruined the game. A well deserved day off tomorrow for the Crew. The Dodgers are slumping right now. Hopefully we've caught them at a good time.
  7. man even when the guy smokes one it ends going right to the outfielder. its a combination of decreasing talent and bad luck.
  8. Any chance we see a miracle in the 9th to keep the streak going? it just seems like one of those nights where the opponent's pitching is awesome. the body language of the players looks kind of lethargic. oh well no biggie.
  9. gonzalez and weeks are both awful. however, at least gonzalez is good defensively. if you are going to have a black hole in the lineup then at least play the guy that is solid defensively. there's nothing that weeks does right.
  10. made a mistake to one of the two guys that can hit it out. the rest of that team can't hit a watermelon. hopefully the hitters wake up.
  11. agreed. he did not have his best stuff tonight. control was off. a little bit of luck and some good defensive plays kept the padres at just 3. that leaping grab by segura was awesome.
  12. gallardo somehow has only given up 3 runs. he's gotten hit pretty hard. a lot of loud outs today.
  13. Wild card?? My sights are on the Division. Imagine this line-up with Ramirez and Hart and it's the best in baseball hands down. The bullpen is just lights out with three pitchers that can hit 97MPH, and perhaps another one on the way with Olmsted, not to mention an improving stable starting rotation. Wild card is an afterthought right now. This is going to be a team that flies under the radar most of the season. That is cool with me. A lot of people are going to be surprised when this team is fighting for a division title in September. I read a lot of predictions that had us finishing either 3rd or 4th. Don't count out the Brewers. This is a team that could have won over 90 games last year if the bullpen had been at least average. The team is hitting right now without Aramis and Hart. I can't wait until those 2 come back. Our bullpen is getting the job done and our rotation is doing good. Gallardo will settle down, he is usually a slow starter. Lohse has been awesome, Peralta has been ok, Estrada has a done good job, Burgos looked good in his debut. I like this team.
  14. I would wait until the end of the year before making a decision on that. The Milwaukee Brewers don't have the luxury of being able to spend a lot of money on players. The team needs to take risks by signing talented young guys early in their careers. If the team had waited a few more years to sign Braun, it is likely he would have left. Braun could easily ask for $20 million a year. The Brewers can't really afford to pay one guy so much money while trying to field a competitive team. The team took a risk and signed him early. It all worked out pretty well. If the Crew thinks that Segura is going to be a great player, lock him up now. The team would be taking a risk paying him more than he is worth at the moment, but they would save a lot later on if he turns elite.
  15. this umpire sucks. braun got hosed badly. get the job done henderson
  16. It was a little rough, but he got the job done. He looked pretty nervous though. I'd play it safe and keep having him pitch in low pressure situations.
