I think he's better than you're giving him credit for. Well he's not Yuni level bad, but he's not good either. I think he's at best an average player. His strength is his good defense. Hitting wise supposedly he's not that great according to Giants fans.

I think that the breaking ball is key to Axford's success. I remember in 2011 he would throw a wicked curveball. After the curveball he'd throw some nasty heat. Does Axford have another breaking pitch? I think he should rely on the breaking ball and toss in the fastball to compliment it. Just when you think he's going to throw a change-up, Ax throws 99 heat. -

lol brandon crawford is one of those triple-a quality players that makes me scratch my head whenever he does something good. seriously hr's to crawford? i still can't believe that scrub hit a hr against marcum 2 years ago. marcum was cruising through most of the game and then crawford hits a grand slam.

Nice inning from Axford. I hope that he eventually re-discovers his awesomeness. Just have to keep pitching him in low pressure situations until he is ready to try again. Lol at both Segura comments

Real nice game by the Brewers so far. Nice to see Braun smack one out of here. Even Weeks got a hit. Hopefully Gallardo can give us 7 solid innings. The less work the bullpen has to do the better.

The best part of it was that the bullpen didn't allow a single run. Badenhop and Henderson pitched well.

Sounds like a good way to make big decisions. Considering Weeks is not clutch at all, you bet it is. I have to admit, though, that was the best AB in a long time for Weeks, even though he got out. He FINALLY was able to catch up with mid-90's heat instead of swinging late by 2 feet. Agreed. That was one of the best at-bats of the year by Weeks. Really unlucky that it was hit right at the LF.
