  1. The 1 extra run make me hate it less, and Chacin has looked good against Muncy. I don't want him facing Bellinger no matter what...don't really want him facing MM either.
  2. No way should Chacin stay in. He did his job, that has to be end of the line for him. I'm going Knebel or Soria in the 6th, Knebel, Soria or Jeffress in the 7th...Hader for the last 2. Hopefully we can tack on another run or 3 here.
  3. Shorter stint for sure. Max 2 innings from him. I also think we need someone ready in case some guys get on against Chacin here. Under no circumstances should Chacin face Bellinger again today.
  4. Against Arcia, buehler was only hitting 95-96...no 98-99. Hopefully that continues against Cain and Yelich.
  5. I am also just realizing how late he started his slide. Not ok dude...that's how people get hurt. Dirty dirty play.
  6. I generally like smoltz but he's a dope on this one...you can't reach up and push the guy. What in the world...
  7. Tend to agree with the anti-packers updates. Good inning for the Brewers there. Buehler seemed to lose command a bit and they seem to be recognizing pitches much better. Aguilar was very upsetting about missing that offspeed pitch on the inside corner. I really hope Arcia can find a way to get on next half inning, would be huge.
  8. Buehler isn't going to be spotting 99 at the belt and just above on 2 strikes after he's thrown 80+ pitches. When Chacin gets to 80+ he'll be pulled...if Buehler gets pulled their middle relief will likely be very hittable. Stick with the plan and we should have an advantage in the late game.
  9. I think some of these guys should be sitting on 1-1 curveball. He's missing with that pitch sometimes and I think he's gonna leave one middle middle at some point here. Hopefully to Braun.
  10. I know they don't like doing it, but definitely the right call to IBB Hernandez to get to Buehler. Keeping every run off the board at all costs is key againt Buehler, and there just isn't a hole in this Dodger lineup 1-8. I have no problem with it. No reason to take a risk there, not in my opinion.
  11. I feel like Chacin pitched too well for a bases loaded situation. Made maybe 1 bad pitch the entire inning. Command seems very sharp in general.
  12. Despite that bogus move by MM, I appreciate that Arcia has eaten a few rather than trying to make a hero throw he has no chance at. Playing a bit smarter in the postseason is nice to see...
  13. Haha right, what a stupid comment. Interference is interference...him bracing himself or whatever is secondary.
  14. Yeah so far so good. Buehler's location has also been pretty bad so if he slows down a little bit as he gets deeper into the game it could make him hittable. Must be nice being able to throw the ball middle middle and just blow past guys though. Wish we had a starter who could do that. Agreed. Also everybody but Arcia saw at least 4 pitches I believe. That should help going 2nd time through.
  15. That's atrocious. Hard hit ball that took a tough bounce. Not exactly Machado's fault there. This is MLB, if it's hit right at you and not like a 110 mph screamer...it's an error.
  16. Nice inning, but let's not kid ourselves...that was a bad pitch to Muncy. Lucky he didn't rope that one. AB to turner and Pederson were both very good though. Didn't give either much to hit.
  17. I think you'll be surprised. Arcia has excellent bat to ball skills. I think he'll make some contact at the very least.
  18. For real. If you're wondering why Aguilar was behind that 99 mph heat...he had just seen 81 curve the prior pitch. Those 2 pitches are pretty much exactly what Knebel has...but this guy has length and more offerings. Really tough.
  19. Excellent swing, it's mildly a shame as that was a meatball that he could easily have taken out with a hr cut...but I like the approach to just make hard contact and not try to score 10 runs with 1 swing. You won't see that many mistakes like that in the CS.

  21. From an hour ago. I doubt there was a significant change in the last hour.
