  1. The suns had a bit more favorable calls in the 2nd quarter but it's not nearly enough to explain how poorly the bucks played, especially on offense.
  2. I don't think our second quarter defense has really been a problem, it's entirely offense
  3. Did they really just call that in an NBA finals game?
  4. I'd like to see Middleton get a good rest in the second quarter. Giannis is feeling it right now let's make sure Middleton stays fresh all game and let giannis run the offense for now
  5. Eh, 6 turnovers in a quarter is a lot. We could be up 20 pretty easily with less silly mistakes. Hard to complain about a 13 point lead though
  6. Suns are shooting 29/22/0 with only 1 free throw taken. That like will get significantly better by end of game. This feels eerily similar to game 5 but in reverse
  7. I feel like the bucks are getting the better the of foul calls so far today. A few times I was surprised the bucks didn't get a shooting foul called against us. Not complaining...
  8. Suns are 5-16 from the field with plenty of reasonably good looks. The bucks can't count on that continuing the entire game. No shot.
  9. There's a clear difference between what happened to connaughton vs booker.
  10. Booker trying to win an Oscar, not an NBA title
  11. Apparently there are snipers and spotters on buildings downtown. It makes sense, unfortunately
  12. A guy on my facebook posted a stat about series hitting this point in the playoffs. Since 1984 there have been 17 instances with teams winning games as they have this series...the lower seed being up 3-2 after going down 0-2. The lower seed is 9-8 in game 6. Of the 8 that lost, the lower seed is 0-8 in game 7. This guy didn't have a support link for this stat so take with a grain of salt, but really no reason to specifically think he's wrong. I think even without this stat, game 6 is pretty darn critical as the Suns would have so much momentum going into game 7 if they could pull off a win tonight. Tonight is truly must win.
  13. Perez has been getting a fair amount of hype in prospect circles. The Indians would have to really love Perez and really still believe in Hiura for that to be enough. I have a hard time seeing a package that doesn't include Mitchell. Maybe if they wanted Hiura and/or Urias then we could probably avoid trading Mitchell but those 2 obviously wouldn't be enough.
  14. Rarely, unless it's a player who needs to waive a no-trade clause. Wouldn't a no trade clause discussion not happen until after a trade is completed? It would seem weird to tell a player "we might trade you to X team, would you approve a trade" before a deal is struck. In general I think it's not wise to put the trade thoughts in a players head until it happens, except in 1 year deal situations where it's just obvious a guy is going to be traded...but those never come with no trade clauses.
  15. Right. 2.5 years of control. If they could put together a package without including Mitchell I would consider that a win. Turang seems expendable with Adames in the fold so a package headlined by Turang would be fine with me. But if it had to include Mitchell then it is what it is. It seems Sal Frelick is a very similar player to Mitchell. I'm not sure there's a universe in which we get Ramirez and the Indians don't more or less get their pick of the litter...which almost certainly includes Mitchell. If we offered Mitchell and Turang for Ramirez they'd probably say "well that's a start, what else you got?"
  16. https://www.instagram.com/p/CRdCztJHLHh/?utm_medium=copy_link Let me know if this link worked. This is hilarious
  17. Remember that one time booker flexed at giannis like a punk and then lost the game...?
  18. Being in deer district for that alley oop would have been absolutely insane...
  19. It's been a huge weakness of this team for a while that we don't have a guy to take this shot. Need a huge inbound play here
  20. Our lead has really never felt safe with how well both teams are shooting today. We are 2 or 3 missed shots in a row from a really close game.
  21. We are super fortunate to have gotten that run. So many wide open 3s missed. I hope that isn't viewed as the big lineup working because it didn't. We were super weak defensively we simply got lucky...
  22. Jrue making shots is a big deal tonight. Hopefully the claw back continues
  23. We open big, Portis and Lopez in the game.
