  1. Not to keep this going, but IMO as long as Shaw shows signs of life by then... IF.... then Thames is the most likely to go.... and by go, I did mean in trade not cut, because he has some value. The biggest reason I think this is the difference in years of control between Shaw and Thames. How they both fit the system now and for the next 3 years. This whole thing in no way means Thames is bad or I dislike him. To me the longer term control means a lot...
  2. The more this game goes on the more I disagree with this. He has an assortment that can all be filthy. Ability to locate will be the only thing that could keep him from being a successful starter.
  3. Like I said above, by the time Hiura is considered to come up, this will probably work itself out. Someone will continue to slump or bust out of it, or an injury, etc...
  4. I’m not crapping on him, I like the guy. I just think he ends up being the odd man out when Hiura eventually comes up. Shaw has options. If he’s not hitting by then I would totally agree. I just expect the bat to get going here soon. Probably at least 2-3 weeks away from Hiura possibly coming up, so I have a feeling by that point it will find a way to sort itself out.

  6. In the short sample size yes, but long term his play style seems to fit the least to me. High K and no flexibility or above average D anywhere really.
  7. Opposing OF not even bothering to move is one of the coolest things to me. The definition of a bomb.
  8. And who exactly is hitting at 1b? What does that have to do with Thames being a wretch? Why waste a year of control for two extra weeks? Pretty much he was up to start the year to make it worth it, or now at this point wait till it’s for sure past, i e end of the month.
  9. He’s proven he can get through a lineup multiple times with his stuff. Developing any resemblance of consistent control is the far more pressing need IMO.
  10. Freddy’s time in the rotation is fading quickly if he can’t figure out the first inning issues.
  11. Leonard with a 7 bounce game winner in the NBA game. Glad the Bucks see the Raptors, I can’t stand the personalities of most of the 76ers.
  12. Just flipped over to check the score, don’t see many NBA games in the 80’s these days. Yikes. Brutal O or lock down D
  13. May have left him in a little too long. Don’t hear that much these days.
  14. Philly offense has been brutally bad so far tonight.
  15. I’m ok with the error call. He went two directions and spun in a circle and still touched the ball in the air. An MLB outfielder has to catch that.
  16. You gotta be more specific. That could literally apply to 6 people in the last 2 minutes, although I know who you mean, lol.
  17. He still beat the throw, just couldn’t get to the base.
