I feel like the starters will decide this game. Runs are going to be very hard to come by late, the first starter to blink may get the L.

Have hated the post game show all series, but that Kratz interview was awesome!

He's a lot better at home, still just over a 3 ERA on the road though.

Guessing Burnes if we score here, and stick with Jeffress if we don't.

Jeffress warming, I like this a lot! Keeps Hader behind him in case of trouble. Also gives the offense more time to possibly score and not need Hader. If Hader doesn’t pitch tonight he’s got 3 maybe tomorrow.

Even a run here is huge, could try to get Soria through the 7th then and go from there.

Wouldn’t be surprised if it did. Might be adrenaline dulling the pain just a little right now. Will have to see during the half-inning change. I thought it glanced off his wrist and hit the knob of the bat.

Don’t think he would’ve faced Wood, they had a righty up.

Just wasn’t thinking ahead enough to have a reliever up. I think by the time it happened it was too late to get someone up.

Bases clearing double saves Hader and Jeffress. Well worth the chance. Lots of arms in our pen can go an inning with a 3 run lead.

Why not have Soria up in the pen? Such a wasted opportunity.

I like Soria, Burnes, Hader, Jeffress all throwing 1 so they can still go tomorrow. I doubt that happens though.

If Chacin gets through 5 it’s not a big deal, if he happens to struggle early would have been nice to have some big arms for multiple inning stints.

Leaving a lot of outs for the pen. Would have been nice to save these bullets for multiple innings tomorrow, but do what you gotta do.

Not an elimination game for them. Might be worried about keeping his BP arms for tomorrow.
