Almost have to keep Burnes for tomorrow with Hader and Woodruff used up. Jeffress, Soria, and Knebel are all fine to go back to back days.

If they are willing to throw Hader 3 I’m guessing there’s no messing around.

In Counsel I trust but my lord is this tough to watch. Getting to the point in pitch count where it my be Tuesday before we see him.

Heart of their order I would go Knebel here. I know Soria was up at one point, not sure if he’s coming in or not.

A couple of those AB were really good. I think his AB in the first set the tone that Kershaw was going to have to work. Was a 10+ pitch AB

I’m very similar. In 2011 that team was at the back end of its window though. Part of me being calm about this team is there is a big window for success yet. It’s not our only shot at it, we may actually get BETTER for the next couple years. Nothing is for sure though, so might as well win it while we’re here.

Hader for 1 and he should be ok tomorrow yet. Then maybe Cedeno and Guerra can get some innings.

While the Brewers August rotation numbers were some of the worst in baseball to boot. That is a mystery that will never be solved. Do they maybe see him as a pen guy rather than a workhorse starter? My only guess here. Possibly keeping his innings manageable knowing we could have a post season run...???? He also didn’t do much with his early starts this year. I remember just waiting for him to take a rotation spot and run with it every time he started early in the year and it just never happened.

Woodruff probably done with his spot due up this inning I guess, but Hader now seems early.

Just said Aguilar a different hitter behind in the count... yea.... like better. Huge amount of his HR are down in the count. Feel like National broadcasters don’t do homework sometimes.
