I honestly thought Moose here, but hope Braun proves me wrong.

True but leaving a hard thrower like Hader in there for three innings is risky. I was really surprised to see him come back out for the 8th. Starter his whole minor league career, pitched 3 innings multiple times this year, only 17 pitches. Only thing that was risky is the Cubs lineup. He was still the right choice.

I would greatly prefer Hader for 1 more inning. Cover a 1 run lead for 2 more innings seems like a daunting task right now...

Seems like a bad early hook to me, Davies was cruising. Now Gio to bridge the gap to our late innings guys. He’s NEVER pitched out of the pen in his career... let’s try it in a playoff chase...

No kidding, there’s been nothing said about a mechanical change or anything like that. If his care meter was just off, not putting in the work, lack of focus, whatever it was... then going to be tough to answer questions that will be coming about the change.

As for crowds, I avoid these games. I will hardly ever attend a opening day or Cubs game. Just my personal preference to avoid the drama, idiots, college kids puking in the parking lot, etc. Seen enough fights broke up by the police on horses, and cars damaged. Now a playoff series... bring on the drama, lol

Just got home, listened to the first couple innings in the car. Ueck is getting real hard to listen to, and all you can hear in the background is Cubs fans... wasn’t great entertainment.

I literally cut Gio from my fantasy team this morning and come home to see we traded for him, lol. Brewers winning, Badgers winning, life is good! Man, I love fall.

Five stitches in his mouth/lip. No concussion. Considered day-to-day. About as well as it could've turned out I guess.
