  1. Must be nice to always allow yourself an out... If Gennett hit in the 9th like I was counting on it would have turned out differently. RR screwed the pooch. Gennett was out of the game long before you made that prediction.
  2. Any site track how many calls each ump has had reversed? Last I heard 40% are overturned. That's challenges. I'm wondering number of calls each individual ump has had overturned. Or even an umps "batting average" so to speak. The number of overturned calls/total number of calls they've made.
  3. Any site track how many calls each ump has had reversed?
  4. Someone has to have a picture of the bullpen doors opening and 6 relievers sitting on a bench wearing jackets with shocked looks on their faces.
  5. Tony La Russa ever make a call to the bullpen with nobody warming up?
  6. Smith is warmed up now, better get him out and burn another arm tonight.
  7. Odd thought, but when RR called for the pitching change and realized Smith was sitting on the bench with his jacket on yet, could/should he have kept Kintzler in? It was his first trip to the mound with Kintzler pitching I believe. Does the hand signal from the manager officially end the night for the pitcher on the mound? If not what does?
  8. He can't hit, but that is a crazy good defensive play.
  9. Stretch on the mound, throw 8 pitches, stand on the field for a 5 minute challenge. If he gets out of this he's my hero.
  10. How can a pitching change be botched this badly? First bring in the wrong guy and now have to have Smith come in without even stretching?
  11. Any guesses as to when these 8 are on the field together again?
  12. So the whole no batting practice thing probably sticking around for a while
  13. Anyone else getting the feeling that the 3 is going to have to stand up.
  14. Wow is Harang terribly un-athletic. An average fielding pitcher makes that play on Segura.
  15. Most runs scored in NL since 09 was the FSN trivia. Justin Upton 488 McCutchen. 482 Braun. 480 Would have never guessed Braun would be that high with the number of games he missed.
  16. 7 of the 18 players in this game have an average below .200
  17. Did they really just say Garza has 13 CAREER hits? Spent time in the AL but still... Ben Sheets like.
  18. Gomez expected to be back in the lineup tomorrow. Lucroy better be an all star this year! Garza a scoreless first inning. Schafer an extra base hit. Life is well in Brewerville!
  19. Totally agree he's not the best long term option, but if you need a spot start or two starting tomorrow...
  20. Wasn't his rehab assignment like 60 days? Gonna be a while yet I think. Could be Figaro maybe to come up, not sure there are a ton of options. Doubt they put a guy like Fiers whose throwing well into the pen. Why wouldn't you, though? He isn't a better SP option than anyone up in the bigs, and is actually the second-best SP candidate in Nashville. His stuff is the definition of bullpen stuff in the bigs, & the Brewers could use the help right now. I guess it would depend on if he's your first choice for a fill in starter if one is needed. If he's not then bullpen is an option. Better numbers and a little more experience led me to assume he'd be first in line.
