  1. Why can't RR let a pitcher throw an inning? Wooten throwing well probably gets the third out even against a lefty. Seems like RR burns through pitchers more than necessary. Especially in a tie game, let Wooten go two innings if he gets through one around 15 pitches.
  2. My friend is sitting about two rows away and said he heard it hit the pole. Yep, I have a friend even with first base and he said he could hear the clunk off the pole even where he is. Edit: If he could hear it there they may have heard it in the dugout, or I'm sure some of the position players heard it.
  3. Well at least the Cardinals are losing... Seems like a bad matchup for Yo. He always seems to try to nibble, and this Twins team is very disciplined at the plate. When they don't swing when you nibble you eventually throw a meat ball over the plate.
  4. All-star voting came up during an IGT. I figured I would post my comment here as well: Saw an article on a Giants board that talked about their fans using mailinator addresses a ton. I used it this year to see and it does work. You can put anything at all in front of @mailinator.com and it's an automatic email address. I put one@mailinator.com, voted, change the "one" to "two", vote again and so on. Mlb site even keeps your picks so you don't even reselect players. You can change a couple letters and go. The article talked about like 4 Giants players finishing higher than they should have. Edit: found the link here it is. http://www.bayareasportsguy.com/the-mlb-all-star-game-needs-to-go-back-to-its-roots/

  6. Royals finally scored against Miller. Would be nice to be back to a 5 game lead by the end of the night.
  7. Kintzler just not impressive since coming off the DL.
  8. 100 even through 6, and his spot probably not coming up this inning. Personally I leave him in, but thinking RR will not. Edit: apparently they will as they say the pen is quiet. If he can get through the 7th our bullpen will be quite rested.
  9. For as much as Rock claims Garza is attacking, it's a pretty high count in the 6th. Close to the range of not coming out for the 7th now.
  10. The average that flirts with the Mendoza line... But like I said before, bearable when he's hitting for power. He didn't have a reputation as a good defender, but has been pretty darn good this season.
  11. Tuned in late so I didn't see either of the Mauer doubles, but he looked lost in that at bat. Mile behind the fastball and totally fooled on the slider
  12. He must have pretty good downward movement, 3 of the last 4 batters hit the ball straight down into the ground. Even the Gomez single hit about 2 feet in front of home plate.
  13. No chance at all to throw out Segura, but he tried. Throw ended up halfway between home and third, gave Luc a free base.
  14. Wang is on the team for garbage innings, terrible use of the pen to end up with a late innings guy throwing 30 pitches in a blowout.
  15. 20+ pitch outing for Thornburg which is completely unnecessary. No way he will be available tomorrow.
  16. When's the last time the Brewers had 4 players with 3 hits in a game?
