I get the frustration with him, but the Brewers are probably 30 games over .500 with him in the lineup. At this point ride with the guys that got you here.

I don’t get bunting first pitch there, make him at least throw a strike.

Yea, my bad on Northwestern. I thought they were better than that in 23. Still a quick spin to go from 1-11 to 8-5. If the Badgers found a way to get to 8 wins next year the presumptive new coach would probably get a statue. Northwestern does have an even bigger academic draw than WI does though.

Syracuse, Northwestern, TCU all have had 10 win seasons with a first year coach following a losing season. There’s not a lot of sustained success there I’ll admit that, but quick turnarounds can happen with the portal. It does not need to be a 3-4 year rebuild process like it needed to be before the portal.

Good news is rebuilding can be a quick process if you get the right coach and boosters in place. Bad news is I have no idea who would qualify as that level of coach and would be willing to come to WI and inherit this mess.

He's clearly available tonight as he's in the game. Made sense for him to face the heart of the order here in the 8th. Not sure how we wasted anything last night as long as he was still available tonight.

I watched the entire A&M and ND game, great game, then flipped on the Brewers in the top of the 10th, great ending. Think I got the best of both worlds of viewing tonight!

Texas A&M and Notre Dame was a heck of a football game! One of the more entertaining games that I’ve seen in years.

Wondered if I was the only one to have that issue. My picture and sound get out of sync 4-5 times per game and I have to back out and reload. Tonight’s the first time I’ve seen buffering posts so I always thought it was just me.

Really doubt it. As much as some here want him to be sent to the pen, the Brewers have made no indications that they view him as anything but a starter long term. With off days coming up, there’s a path to getting him 6+ days of rest before his next start.

Well, it worked. I still don’t think the 7th was worth the risk personally, but that was a great start from the Miz!

Yep, nothing to gain. Not really a difference between 6 and 7, but if he goes out and loses his control now you can ruin the vibe of a good start.

I felt the Brewers needed to go .500 in the 6 games between the Blue Jays and Phillies. Good start to win the first series, now we basically just can’t get swept by the Phillies. No matter what happens today, that off day has to be looking mighty nice tomorrow.

Don’t see pitchers checking their printed cheat sheet too often, lol. I’ve seen OF’s do it between batters, but I think Megil the first pitcher I’ve seen do it.
