  1. Good work by Williams, wish it was a batter earlier and we may still be tied at least.
  2. Two batters too long. I don’t care how good he has been, it was brutally obvious he had no command. Williams should’ve been in before we were behind.
  3. I really hate it when catchers use those odd setups because it really limits their ability to block pitchs or to react to the unexpected. I agree with this, him kneeling every pitch is lazy. Pretty sure he was expecting a high fastball there though, target was at the chest level.
  4. Think he has to play a part if Brewers make a post season run. He’s a power arm that few can match. I feel the exact same way with him as I did Corbin 2 years ago.
  5. Down a ways in that thread there’s a tweet about the Padres calling about Hader. The first response was Sam Dekker saying “Wow, Tatis Jr to the Brewers”. One can dream...
  6. Been quite the enjoyable night so far. I really like Mathias. Even his outs he gives good AB. Small sample size, but hope he can keep it rolling.
  7. When it went 3-0 I thought they were just working around him. Obviously would’ve been a better idea.
  8. I would guess Burnes and Nottingham have worked together in the minors correct?
  9. Dillard is noticeably better this game. He’s relaxed and just being himself.
  10. Seems early to sell on Hader if he’s not a FA till 2024. If he’s only a 1 inning closer though I guess his value here is limited. We also do seem to have a lot of young arms to fill bullpen roles.
  11. We don’t have much to sell. Phelps maybe, but even he’s probably more useful next year than what we’d get for him.
  12. Especially in a 7 inning game. I truly believe this format is a large disadvantage for the Brewers team make up.
  13. I honestly thought it was worse. I can only remember like 2 of those 7.
