I defended Lindbloom cuz I thought he had good enough stuff to be the 5th starter, but it’s getting to the point of “We have 2.5 more years of this???”

He’s trying too hard.......but it is his first time so I’ll give him a little slack. He’s provided some good insight, then just awkward at times. Probably takes a little to get comfortable in the booth.

I like this lineup. Hope Lindbloom is effective early instead of have to settle in after 3 early runs...

After his first two at bats today his wRC+ is up to 96. If he surpasses 100 by the end of the night an appreciation thread may be in order. Failed to mention it was 86 in 2017 before regressing to 54. He had a .317 babip that year though which is high. He hit .277 in over 500 AB that year. I always thought he had it in him, and I seem to think he’s a break out candidate each year. Lately I feel it will just come the year after he leaves Milwaukee.

7 inning double headers are brutal for this team. They usually get rolling around the mid 8th. How many 7 inning leads have we had this year, like 3 maybe???

Even the fall tournaments are still scheduled as of now, although football only has a 2 week window. The WIAA said they would announce a decision on each tournament at least 30 days prior to its start. In reality I think fall and winter tournaments have zero chance of occurring. Spring is way to far out to know, but I think they have a better chance being outdoors and non-contact. -
Unfortunately the umps are in regional pods. We are likely to have him a lot more this season.

Lindbloom has given up early runs, but seems to settle in and keep you in a game. He’s paid like a #5 starter essentially, and about what he is. I think he would be a .500 pitcher with about a 4.50 ERA over a full season.

Bump. Glad he’s been able to pick up where he left off. Let’s hope it doesn’t get him sent down again.

Totally missed Williams becoming Seattle’s closer. I’m not in any fantasy leagues this year and Seattle doesn’t get a lot of media coverage I guess. -

Knebel used to hit 99 at times. He’s not a guy that can live at 91-92. That’s a big drop, hopefully it comes back. TJ usually doesn’t lower velocity, and some guys gain.

When did throwing around the horn come back? It was banned early on in the season cuz of COVID restrictions but just noticed they’re doing it again.
