  1. Was hoping they take a chance on Stephen Sullivan late at TE. LSU kid with all the physical tools. Longest arms and second fastest 40. Just no production at LSU. So many play makers on that offense though. Could be developed as a receiving TE.
  2. Will guess Niang. Wanted a WR with one of top 3 but guys sitting here don’t really fit our mold. Duvernay and Hill both short slot guys.
  3. I really like the Ravens draft
  4. I’m really starting to believe they don’t think there will be a season this year.
  5. Honestly wonder if possibility of not having a season due to COVID is an actual factor in some of this
  6. Gutekunst is drunk. Only explanation for first two picks.
  7. SF got better today, we didn’t. I just don’t get the Favre to Rodgers comp. Rodgers was a potential #1 pick who fell into the 20’s. The Packers just traded up to take a QB about where he was projected at the end of 1st round. It also seems off given Rodgers contract length and cost. QB was not a need and is too big of a hit/miss risk to waste capital on right now when we have a window to win now. The last baffling aspect is to me a starting QB on a cheap rookie deal really gives a team a chance to surround them with talent. This basically ensures by the time Love starts he’s already going to be due for an extension so they would also miss that window.
  8. He said he wants to play into 40’s
  9. Thought the Pats could have gotten a bit more than a 3rd to drop down 14 slots. That was my first thought, as well. Thought ESPN reported it was two picks
  10. Jeudy with 20 people in the room behind the glass doors.
  11. Yea don’t get it unless SF convinced TB that another team was going to move into that spot.
  12. Part of me honestly thought Gronk is only doing this because he can get in the spotlight and maybe never actually play again if games are canceled. Even if there is a season there’s likely to be no OTAs, full camps, etc.
  13. Someone in Houston is on the sauce. Jeesh, they are now paying the combo of Cooks and Cobb the same amount Hopkins was asking for over the next 3 years. Why would you trade a WR to avoid paying him, just to acquire two lesser WR for the same price. They had to eat Johnson’s contract in the deals as well so they come out worse financially. There is no way you can twist their off season in any manner that is a logical explanation.
  14. People will be glued to any type of sports event. On top of that, all the large groups that would be at one bar, will now be individual TVs. The ratings will be super bowl level.
  15. Are they expanding rosters because of the need to play double headers? If that’s the case I would think they would carry more pitchers than position players unless their is a cap on number of pitchers they can have up. Also wonder if you could make roster moves between games of a double header? A lot of weird details to work out.
  16. 1. Adams 2. 3. Funchess 4. Lazard 5. Kumerow 6. MVS/St. Brown/Begelton/or Shepherd Fill that with a legit #2 and it looks way better than last year. Could probably flip Lazard and Funchess either way, but we need another threat.
  17. 1. Adams 2. 3. Funchess 4. Lazard 5. Kumerow 6. MVS/St. Brown/Begelton/or Shepherd Fill that with a legit #2 and it looks way better than last year. Could probably flip Lazard and Funchess either way, but we need another threat.
  18. Entirely depends on where the surgery was done. For example, there hasn’t been a confirmed case within 45 miles of my house. The main hospital near me could easily perform those types of procedures yet. The thing I’m wondering about is if these guys are going ahead with the procedure because there will be a short season, if one at all. Everything on Sale said he could rehab it. Then all of a sudden it was a complete 180 and he was getting it done. I wonder if this is a normal year if he’s not still trying to throw. The story I read on Syndergaard said complete tear I think, so maybe not the same for him.
  19. I don’t understand how TE is a need. With bringing Lewis back, they have 3 on the roster. Tonyan and Sternberger should be able to match the receiving numbers from last year if not exceed them.
  20. Rodgers has too many years left, and we’re in a window to win now. Get him some help instead of drafting his replacement. The only way I would support a QB in top 3 rounds is if Tua tumbled .
  21. Sanders to the Saints makes that offense even better. If Brees can stay healthy they will put up some points.
  22. Kind of thought that too. He could spell the Smiths from time to time and also help at MLB. If he’s willing to be versatile he makes sense.
  23. Gurley and Matthews released by the Rams.
  24. Are they paying his whole salary? The ESPN article says that the Jags will have to absorb 18.75 million in dead money. Not sure if they are paying that portion of his salary or if that's just the cap hit.
  25. It was just a "rumor" yet, but Bridgewater has been linked to the Bears. That would create quite the QB competition. It also leads me to believe the Bears have absolutely no vision for where the franchise is going. They've spent money on a very old TE in Graham. If they sign Bridgewater they will have two pretty significant contracts at QB without actually having a face of the franchise guy. If you're bringing in a QB in free agency it better be "the guy" because you are going to pay for him. If they aren't sold on Trubrisky, then draft a QB. At least then you have a chance of hitting gold and getting a guy on a cheap deal. With the rest of the big contracts they have already, they almost need a rookie deal QB to be able to afford enough around them. By signing Bridgewater they are basically stuck in middle ground. He's probably not a franchise changer, and you have enough money tied up you can't bring in enough other pieces.
