Wow, that's a great article. I had never heard any of that about Helling standing up to the union.

Yeah, definitely an unfortunate loss. They had about a six point lead with about six to play, but couldn't do anything after that. Also, MSU decided to make almost every shot from that point on. Would have been a real nice win for UW.

Great win for MU today. I don't think MU will struggle that badly next year. Yes, I definitely think there will be a drop off from what they are this year, but they have a very nice recruiting class coming in with some good guards as well as some big men. And I think that Hayward will be huge next year, along with Butler taking a more prominent role on the team.

I'm surprised the deal is for that much. Before this offseason I would have thought it was good, but the way the market is right now it seems like quite a bit to lock up a player who is 32 years old.

    Give Gamel his shot!

I am also a member of Team Homer. I am currently at 6, and picked UCLA for 7. Hopefully they can pull this off at ASU.

Since as early as I can remember I have been a Brewers fan. Almost every time I talk to my dad the conversation starts with something Brewers. My dad signed me up for the Pepsi Fan Club (I thought it was Coca Cola Fan Club) when I was young, so I would always go to a number of games a year growing up. I love this thread...some great stories.

I agree with you completely. I wasn't saying it to mock anybody...I am probably just as frustrated as everyone else.

I absolutely love Phish. I've seen them over 25 times live, and have over 100 live cd's. I used to skip out of class in high school and college to see there shows...and then followed them around during the summer. EDIT: If anyone wants to see a great Milwaukee area band (jam band / bluegrass influenced), check out Stealin' Strings. They're playing out in Colorado right now, but have a number of shows around this area coming up soon. www.stealinstrings.com

TBow got the strike out...but the Brewers failed to score in the bottom. Let's go CoCo.

Braun was running on the 3-2 pitch, Fielder struck out swinging, the throw bounced off Renteria's glove into the outfield. JJ scored and Braun advanced to third.

Smoltz is out...lets hit up that bullpen!
  24. gobrew23
So far in this game I think Weeks has watched every strike, and swung at every ball...struggling.
