  1. We would have had a guy on base for Braun's homer if Hiura was batting first or second. Do you understand now?
  2. Well, that was a short-lived lead. Brewers continue to bleed! Hiura is who we need!
  3. Is Shaw: (a) hapless (b) helpless © hopeless (d) all of the above ????
  4. Arcia needs some days off ... Shaw needs some weeks off ... Moose might be forced to have some weeks off ... It's time for Saladino and Hiura, baby! Let's go, Brewers! Play the hot bats. Freeze the cold bats.
  5. Well, that "team" is one player tonight -- Brandon Woodruff.
  6. 2 of our 3 hits in 7 innings from Brandon Woodruff. What's going on?
  7. MLB debut from a guy with a 5.15 ERA in Triple-A ... and he's shutting us down without a problem. Shaw strikes out on 3 pitches ... that's unfortunately not surprising ...
  8. Well, the Brewers seem a bit cursed in this ballpark.
  9. Well, Tatis Jr. is a 20-year-old rookie for the Padres and is hitting just great! Keston was hitting very good for us! Bring him back, soon!
  10. Woodruff can hit! Can he play a position when he is not pitching?
  11. Well, maybe Woodruff can hit a couple homers for us and tie this thing up!
  12. It was a broken bat home run. A giant chunk of the bat shattered right off the barrel and he still hit it out with room to spare. It was sort of incredible. Wow! That homerun was the difference, too, as the Cubs went scoreless in the bottom of the 9th. The Brewers are up 1 game in the NLC for the next couple hours now.
  13. Why is Woodruff a better hitter than over half of our lineup, seemingly?
  14. White Sox 3 Cubs 1 (top of the 9th -- White Sox still batting after tallying two runs against Pedro Strop in the 9th)
  15. Pathetic Offense ... we're still in first place, though ... one game does NOT make or break a season. I want Hiura!
  16. The Brewers offense has been more boring than a Walter Mondale campaign speech. We need a Donald Trump speech here in the 9th!!! Make the Brewers great again!
  17. It's a no-brainer! He's only got two pitches, after all. So did Ben Sheets. Most starters throw 2 pitches about 90+ pct of the time. There's no reason to pigeon hole him into either role right now. Actually, Freddy really only has one pitch. That curveball is so erratic and thrown so rarely ...
  18. A real dud of a game ... thanks to the offense!
