It appeared Stearns bailed. If you are trying to win in October you don't trade away Hader unless winning a WS isn't the ultimate goal. I get the feeling management is satisfied with being the team competitive just enough to put butts in the seats.

This team drives me crazy. They look so good at times but fall apart at the worst possible moments.

Unfortunately with these lousy hitters our pitchers have to be almost perfect and that is just asking too much.

Once again no offense is gonna do us in against a mediocre team. You gotta be able to score without hitting homers to be successful in this game.

Unfortunately the stupid Cards are going to win this division. It's probably for the best because we aren't good enough anyway.

You can't compare the Packers and the Brewers. They are in vastly different situations financially. And the NFL playoffs you win or go home whereas in MLB you play a series so if you lay an egg in the first game you aren't done.

Good grief, but I guess this is just a continuation from the disaster with this team since the trade deadline.

The Reds are about as good as the Pirates and we all saw what happened there. I'm almost glad I won't be able to see much of tonight's game...

This is the first thing I thought of after this mess today. We try to bolster the pen and that pen plays like crap.
