  1. Oh, no you don't. They are just alittle frustrating....ok, a lot.....
  2. I think we will be lucky to split with the Cubs. They have a good pitching staff and should be really good next year.
  3. #1 - Who is saying to "bench" Braun? #2 - RBI's are not a good way to judge offensive performance. Batting average with runners in scoring position is not away to judge offensive performance? I disagree. If a guy gets all his hits with no one on the hits are useless unless someone drives him in.
  4. Those drugs are most likely against MLB drug rules.LOL!
  5. This stat may be what causes Lucroy to lose the MVP race. Lucroy: 263. Braun is having such a bad year yet he is better than Lucroy in all those stats.
  6. I would really like to see the Brewers win tonight and Braun hit a homerun and go 3/4. I am tired of the bench Braun cries, even though he leads the team in RBI's.
  7. His last 28 days has this line: .228 / .290 / .402 / .692 If his season line of .282 / .334 / .488 / .822 ended today, it would be his worst slash line of his career. I would say there is some cause for concern and not just typical flow of a season. Yet, despite batting second for a long time he still leads the team in RBI's. What is he batting with runners in scoring position compared to Luc and Gomez?
  8. 3rd base coach sent Braun regardless...there is no reason to be tagging up on that ball and yes...that's terrible by the 3rd base ump Come on Braun has no way of knowing if the ball will be caught or not
  9. Has it though? I don't think there's any evidence that it has. I mean, we have a rumored list of 90 more guys from the Biogenesis case alone. There's no way Biogenesis was the only place MLB players could get PEDs. If Braun knew that he could lose his contract maybe he never does the PEDS in the first place
  10. Ya. He should go the the 5 hole and Luc back to 3 No one is a bigger fan of his than me but I do wonder if he is trying to play around his thumb injury/ he makes adjustments/ then the league adjusts/ now he is in the process of having to make new adjustments
  11. Anyone remember when Braun used to get hits? he did hit a couple hard but also had a couple bad swings.
  12. Baseball ignored steriod use for years. I remember as a little kid going to cardinal games watching Sosa and Mc gwire hit homeruns. Before this baseball was dead. MLB didn't care until they were forced to change it. Now they test, yet rarely catch anyone. The testing still is not where it should be and teams should be allowed to get out of contracts if a player fails a drug test. Until they make more changes I can't afford to care because I have no proof anyone is clean.
  13. When Bonds played was there testing? Maybe at the end. MLB profited from the cheating for years. The only reason they went after these guys is to help the Yankees get out of Arods contract and suspend Braun because he got out of the felled test. MLB testing doesn't work. If they really wanted to stop the use they would give teams the power to end contracts after 1 positive test. I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of the games best players are doing something.
  14. I think there will be a lot more players names come out. I just think a lot of players used/ use PEDS in baseball. Of all the guys that were suspended only Braun failed a drug test. Tells me the testing doesn't work.
  15. Is Parra batting going to be that much better that you want to plattoon the guy you think is your future? Parra hasn't looked that great atbat when he was with Arizonia this year.
  16. Exactly. With what we know about the benefits of abdominal flexibility training there is no reason for these athletes to continue having these abdominal and oblique issues. Simple Yoga. Too much of this Not enough of this Really? They just need to do yoga?
  17. yet they allow cortisone and the NFL allows painkillers that are very addictive. The use would have to be limited and given to players by doctors. This wouldn't give young kids an excuse to take them because major league players wouldn't be taking them on their own
  18. The playoff picture could be drastically changed with McCutchen and maybe Garza on the DL with oblique strains. Who knows if Braun is still bothered by his strain. If there is a PED that would help these guys get back on the field faster than they shoulld be able to take it. ( given to them by a doctor) Baseball needs its stars playing not on the sidelines. Are there PED's that helps this kind of injury?
  19. No, it's on Lohse. Yeah he was in there longer than he should have been but he just didn't have it today. Luckily for us, those days have been few this year. No, it's on Roenicke. It's his job to recognize the problem and make an adjustment. I know that he is supposedly a good manager of the clubhouse and his players feel comfortable playing for him but as a stratagist he is sorely lacking. I expect more from the Brewers ace against the worst hitting team in the NL.
