  1. he should have waited but last week when he stopped and waited and didn't end up scoring people were complaining that he was hustling.
  2. They should get used to this if they are going to make the playoffs.
  3. Why because he looked horrible at the plate? So did a lot of other guys. are they going on the DL or maybe the pitching is just good
  4. I agree with everything you said. I don't think Braun deserves a second chance because of the leaked info because if there were no leaked information we wouldn't have known anything about the test and there would be no need for a second chance. Most people are not booing him because of the PED's it is because he lied. If there was no leak he wouldn't have lied. As a fan it is very frustrating to be a Braun fan. I know I am not alone he has over 1 million All-Star votes that is more than Luc.
  5. Sorry. I just get pissed when people bring up Braun and the failed drug tests ect.
  6. Braun's not passing the test in 2011 should have been kept quiet under the agreement between the players association and MLB. We should have never had known Braun failed a test until he appealed and lost. Since he won that appeal the public should have never of known about the positive test. Whoever leaked his failed test should have been fired but I doubt anything happened. These are the kinds of issues that makes me willing to give Braun a second chance. I also love to watch him play.
  7. Braun has looked really bad lately. Do you guys think he needs a couple days off in a row?
  8. Great win. Sometimes when I hear people talk about Braun and how he is playing you would think he is having a bad season like Matt Kemp. Wonder what is happening with Kemp. He was a great player
  9. Braun has such high standard. I mean he is batting over .310 and has 33 RBI's which is close to leading the team (even after missing 14 games)and it still seems like everyone thinks he is not having a good year. I look at OPS a lot more than conventional statistics, I don't pay much attention to batting average and hardly any to RBI, but you're right, over the course of the year he's still sitting pretty close to his career norms at .895 right now. Thanks. Someone else that sees that Braun is playing very close to his career norms. I guess the media likes to start things and I shouldn't listen
  10. Braun has such high standard. I mean he is batting over .310 and has 33 RBI's which is close to leading the team (even after missing 14 games)and it still seems like everyone thinks he is not having a good year.
  11. If a day off helps Braun in the long run one game of another outfielder is worth it. He looks really bad.
  12. He looked kind of lost against a pitcher he has had success against. I think he will respond well and look better in his next at bats
  13. Thanks. I can vote a lot now. Although I think the Brewers would be better off having their players rest for 3 games
  14. Braun is quietly having a better year than most people think. If he had more at bats he would be in the top ten in batting average and a few other categories. I guess because he has been on the DL people think he hasn't produced.
  15. Do the Brewers not have scouts or a hitting coach to let them know about a pitcher that they have never faced?
  16. Looks like the Brewers bats went to sleep. Maybe after they see this guy they can hit him
  17. I would like to see braun bat first
  18. I Don't think the line up order has anything to do with their hot hitting. It has more to do with the bad pitching. Braun should be batting 3rd
  19. He is playing hurt and still getting on base and scoring runs. There is a reason he didn't argue about going to the 2nd spot in the batting order. I think he should be given credit for battling through his injuries and still producing.
  20. Nice to throw your teammate under the bus. I know people don't like Braun but Gomez should have stayed on 2nd base.
  21. The Brewers inability to get runners in from 3rd with less than 2 outs will be a major reason why they will be in 2nd place soon
  22. thigh problem? no gurantee that the thumb surgery would even help. If you think they won't miss Braun if he is out for 30 games you are wrong
  23. sounds very much like the longstanding theory that Braun used PEDs religiously to keep himself on the field while dealing with nagging intercostal/oblique/leg injuries is getting alot of circumstancial evidence supporting it. I really want him healthy and productive, but so far he's not helping himself in terms of proving his PED use was a short term thing and not a career long method of staying on the field and keeping himself in peak physical condition. That would really suck with the Brewers being on the hook for big money to him far into the future...gotta hope he's just been dealt a series of bad breaks with the thumb and oblique again, but these appear to be recurring problems that won't be going away as he ages. Or maybe he came back to soon from an injury. Most players are out a month with oblique injuries. The Brewers tried to bring Braun back after 2 weeks because they have no one else.
