Or he is hurt and is still the Brewers best option. If this is the case he deserves credit for playing through his injury if the team asked him to. Alot of guys wouldn't do this. I'm sure they'd probably like to give him a little more time off right now, but we're just lacking options in the OF. Herrera isn't a guy you want starting a couple times a week. Might be a good idea to see what's out there for a 4th OF'er at the trade deadline. Dodgers have a lot of outfielders. LOL!

Ya, he has been swinging at everything. Up until two weeks ago he was batting .327. I think he will turn it around soon. I feel for the pitcher that he breaks out against.

This! The hand-wringing over his health is getting a little nauseating. I know but as a fan it is frustrating watching such a talented hitter swing and miss pitches he should be hitting out of the park.

That's a bit dramatic. Brewers have a decent record without Braun. He is but 1 man. i was refering to the longterm contract

I wonder if we will ever see Braun get out of this slump. I think the thumb is bothering him more then they are saying. Why else would he be standing almost out of the batter box? I miss seeing him hit.

Without his 3 for 6 an 2 late rbis we might still be playing yesterday's game. We only comment about Braun when he does bad, everyone expects him to get 3 hits every game , so when he does it is no big deal.

I'm concerned by how much crap he's swinging at. Not his swagger. kind of goes together. maybe he needs glasses although the umpire tonight could have used some glasses on a couple 3rd strike pitches

Is anyone else concerned about Braun? He did hit the ball hard in a couple atbats but I want to see that swagger. He didn't do anything after getting hit by a pitch or when the umpire called him out on a ball. A couple years ago Braun would have went off seems like he is playing really reserved.

True, the umpire is calling that a strike but as a hitter that has been in a slump he is trying to swing at strikes
