  1. Read where Toronto is looking for further bullpen help by looking at Boone Logan. While they seem to be trying to improve on the cheap, I would really enjoy getting a few of their prospect arms. I would deal Will Smith straight for Sean Reid-Foley, think he is one of the most underrated arms in the minors. Francisco Rios, Connor Greene, Jon Harris and Angel Perdomo are all interesting as well.
  2. I have to agree with the seller's market that is set, I think we will all be surprised in how much Lucroy (plus a RP???) brings back. I think every prospect is open for discussion at this point.
  3. This stuff is cracking me up. I really believe we are about to have our minds blown at the kind of return we might see for some of our chips and if we don't move at least 5/6+ players in this market I'll be surprised. Demeritte is a potentially explosive prospect held back by a faulty hit tool. If that hit tool ever shows improvement watch out... and for two trash heap pick ups.
  4. He shouldn't be included in this deal. Either he fetches us high end prospects on his own or we wait to have him truly get his velocity and trade him next year for an even higher ransom. If the Indians want Lucroy, what you're asking for isn't out of the question without Smith. Expecting lucroy and torres to bring back those 5 prospects is unrealistic IMO. Can probably drop Bradley and Hillman off of it, so I would gladly add Smith to get Hillman and Bradley. It is crazy season in how good prospects are flying around in the deals so far, so who knows, but it seems like a stretch.
  5. The two players any deal with Cleveland I think has to bring back are Mejia and McKenzie. Those are two guys I want the most and I think long-term will be the best players in their system. I'm not a fan of Aiken or Sheffield. My ideal trade is: Lucroy, Will Smith and Torres for Frazier, Bradley, Mejia, McKenzie and Juan Hillman
  6. Personally, I think Mejia is their 2nd best prospect after Frazier. I know that falls out of the industry consensus, but I believe his bat will be special. Cleveland has a tremendous amount of talent in that organization so I'd be willing to work out a deal with them even with the very top guys off limits, although I wouldn't be in a rush to sweeten their side with additional pieces such as smith or jeffress if they won't put the big guns in. Let's not forget at this time last year Hader was no where near a top 100 prospect, and now he's a top 30 guy. It's about identifying future value more so than current. I'd be ecstatic to see Lucroy for Mejia, Bradley, Clevinger and a nugget or two.
  7. I see the brewers as being super aggressive over the next month and moving the following: Braun Lucroy Will Smith Aaron Hill Carlos Torres Kirk Nieiwenhuis Scooter Gennett Garza will be a post deadline move. Look at how stearns overhauled the team this offseason, I think he is playing his cards well so far and will make some major trades to bring in more young talent here at the deadline.
  8. Lets just do a blockbuster to end all blockbusters with Boston. Braun Nelson Lucroy Will Smith for Moncada Benintendi Espinoza Devers Raudes
  9. I am willing to bet that Paddack not only is a top 100 prospect, but you will see his name floated as a potential candidate for the upcoming midseason updated top 50 ranks by Baseball America and other industry folks. I'll be he falls outside for right now since he's done it for just a month, but he's without a doubt in the conversation and I am updating my personal top 100 in the early part of July and he will easily reside in the top 100.
  10. If you had told me we would be getting paddack back for one of our back-end relievers, I would have been doing a happy dance. Let's hope this help sets the price higher on our guys.
  11. I'd be more interested in a deal with Detroit if it was Norris with Beau Burrows and Christin Stewart.
  12. I wouldn't mind seeing Chris Shaw as a piece coming back in a deal with San Fran.
  13. Was really hoping they would make a play on Pinto, so I'm stoked. Two years ago some were touting this guy as a top 50-100 prospect after breaking out.
  14. Our last deal with the cards in almost the exact same situation turned into Blazek, let's keep our hopes up, we can get someone playable.
  15. Something crazy... would we be able to get someone like Tyson Ross for Jean Segura and Tyrone Taylor? We're all still searching for the young pitcher who could be a top of the rotation type. We have depth at SS and OF with our new acquisitions. I know fans have soured on Segura here, but I think SD is desperate for a SS, hell they're even looking at Starlin.
  16. Would be excited if we can snag Trey Michalczewski from the palehose for Parra. Also, I'd love to flip Lind for Francis Martes and Micheal Feliz. But I agree with the general sentiment shared that The Moustached Man in Charge overplayed his hand severely.
  17. So we now have 24 hours to go, with major deals going down over the past few days. Where do the brewers stand?
  18. Where would Pittsburgh play Gomez with Marte, Cutch and Polanco already there? I get Polanco has underwhelmed to a degree this year, but he's shown signs of life lately and I can't believe they're ready to move on from him.
  19. Probably having too strong of a season, but I always wanted to see Harold Ramirez in a brewers uniform.
  20. Fiers and Krod for Daniel Norris and Anthony Alford... get it done Doug.
  21. For me it is as follows: 1. Orlando Arcia 2. Monte Harrison 3. Kodi Medieros 4. Gilbert Lara 5. Trent Clark 6. Clint Coulter 7. Devin Williams 8. Tyrone Taylor 9. Jorge Lopez 10. Nathan Kirby 11. Michael Reed 12. Marcus Diplan 13. Demi Orimoloye 14. Taylor Jungmann 15. Cody Ponce 16. Jacob Gatewood 17. Taylor Williams 18. Tyler Wagner 19. Angel Ventura 20. Cy Sneed 21. Joangtel Segovia 22. Yadiel Rivera 23. Victor Roache 24. Tyler Cravy 25. Carlos Leal At the beginning of the season I predicted that Monte Harrison would be a top 50 prospect by year end. That obviously is not going to happen, but out of all prospects not named Orlando Arcia, I think he is going to have the biggest impact on this franchise in the future still. I'm truly excited about the state of our farm team though. Much progress has been made over the past few seasons.
  22. If this is true, this is a fantastic return on Yovanni. I was dreading AAAA types. Each of these guys have impact potential, sardinas to me could be a late bloomer in terms of the bat, but he has impact level tools. Diplan could easily be our best SP by years end.
  23. Now that this guy has been non-tendered, I hope the Crew gives him a strong look, I think a combo of him and Lind could be very appealing for us in 2015.
  24. Just as an FYI, Arcia made quite a few of the Baseball America editors top 75 lists at midseason. He's squarely on the top 100 radar by all accounts.
