  1. Beat me to the update! This is frickin awesome! Also liked Frelick getting back in the top 100 even though Baseball America added all the recent draft picks to this update.

  3. Chourio gets his first homer at Wisconsin. 410 feet to right center
  4. This is going to be a great platform to evaluate Chourio in. He's the only player on the NL roster currently on a Low-A squad. He's the youngest player since Vlad Jr. to see the roster. If he holds his own or excels against high level talents his rise is going to reach stratospheric levels.

  6. Was just coming to share the same info. What’s crazy is the hype he was getting for his May numbers and his June numbers are absolutely blowing them out of the water. He’s got damn near a 1.500 OPS in June. We may see him in Appleton before long at this rate. this is some serious Soto level stuff.
  7. This hasn't happened for brewers because it rarely happens for anyone. The last time I remember them gushing this much and they allude to it in their chat, you're talking Soto/Acuna/Tatis type explosions.
  8. Jackson Chourio is now #43 on Baseball America's top 100 updated today! Turang at #82, Frelick at #94 and Wiemer debuts at #95
  9. It was just shared that Chourio is expected to see quite a jump in Baseball America's top 100 update which occurs later this week. Who wants to venture a guess where he resides in the top 100. I am going to predict #51.
  10. Well Baseball America is changing up their top 10 rankings and the frequency with which they update. They just updated the central. Chourio has jumped all the way to #3 for the Brewers!
  11. 100% agree he is top 10 right now. I had him 7 I think in my fan vote and I already feel light. Think he has a good chance to move to #1 for me by midseason. It will be very curious where BA has him in their updated top 10 next week when they release a new top 10 for the brewers and other teams in the NL/AL central. They've been aggressive in moving guys unlike years past in their updates. For instance Tiedemann who is having a fantastic start to the year got moved to #4 in the Toronto system.
  12. Jackson Chourio took their #1 spot on their weekly prospect hot sheet after his huge debut. There's also a fantastic article posted this morning about him. It's an impressive read. Not sure if it's a subscription read or not, but here's the link. https://www.baseballamerica.com/stories/in-first-full-season-series-jackson-chourio-opens-eyes/ Sounds like it's going to be a fun summer to follow Jackson and it wouldn't shock me to see him quickly rise up the fan voting this summer.
  13. Baseball America just updated their top 100 due to graduations and early season performance. Brice Turang and Sal Frelick both broke into the top 100 at 94 and 100 respectively in the update.
  14. Chourio was mentioned among one of the most impressive backfield players in spring training today. I'm wondering if he will make the jump, would be pretty impressive if he did.
  15. I have no problem with being lumped in with those two organizations when it comes to international signing strategies.
  16. 1. Hedbert Perez 2. Aaron Ashby 3. Jeferson Quero 4. Joey Wiemer 5. Garrett Mitchell 6. Sal Frelick 7. Jackson Chourio 8. Tyler Black 9. Freddy Zamora 10. Hendry Mendez 11. Ethan Small 12. Antoine Kelly 13. Felix Valerio 14. Eduardo Garcia 15. Russell Smith 16. Logan Henderson 17. Joe Gray 18. Korey Howell 19. Abner Uribe 20. Zavier Warren 21. Mario Feliciano 22. Taylor Floyd 23. Max Lazar 24. Carlos Rodriguez 25. Justin Bullock 26. Dylan File 27. Jheremy Vargas 28. Justin Jarvis 29. Darrien Miller 30. Gregory Barrios
  17. Baseball America released their brewers top 10: 1. Ashby 2. Turang 3. Frelick 4. Mitchell 5. Black 6. H. Perez 7. Quero 8. Wiemer 9. Small 10. Chourio Badler had some nice things to say about guys who missed the top 10 as well in the chat remarks. I think Badler is one of the better guys out there right now doing prospect work.
  18. I believe Brewers top 10 and chat will be dropped at Baseball America today.
  19. Baseball America had the Brewers at 22 in their updated midseason organizational rankings. The Brewers should not have any graduations I would think by then. Other orgs should have some. Frelick and Binelas have started very strong. Valerio and Wiemer have performed awesome after promotions and the complex levels look incredibly talented. I think it will be hard to jump 7 spots to 15, but I think they do break into late teens when they redo rankings this winter. If that complex level group (hedbert, mendez, quero, garcia, etc) performs strong in full season ball next year, that's where you start see them pushing even for top 10 status.
  20. Baseball America released their organizational minor league rankings. Milwaukee is up to #22. Milwaukee is the first organization to appear who only has 2 top 100 rankings. there are teams below them with higher ranked top 100 prospects but the depth at the low levels seems to be pushing the brewers higher. I think a strong finish to the year at the rookie levels (looking at you hedbert, quero, mendez, etc.) and they may push into the lower teens.
  21. Oh man, he wanted Scherzer Or the cubs didn't want to deal intradivision.
  22. How crazy that the end results of Stearns trades this season have been: Willy Adames Rowdy Tellez John Curtiss Daniel Norris Eduardo Escobar for Alberto Ciprion Payton Henry JP Feyereisen Drew Rasmussen Reese Olson Cooper Hummel Only Escobar and Norris are rentals. Not too mention Hunter Strickland too. Am I missing something??? That's some next level stuff right there.
  23. I was coming to say the same thing. If this is what Tepera or Hand are going for, i'm excited to see who we get as I have to believe we end up with something better than that.
  24. Luzardo 2021 seems awfully similar to Corbin 2019.
  25. This was my exact thought. If it's a drastic overpay you agree and move on, you don't leak to bowden and wait, ha.
