    I agree that they have, but when the pressure is on and against their rivals if they want to get in these are the teams they must defeat.

    The next 6 games are the key. They need to win to show they belong. If they flop here the rest won't really matter. It has been an exciting season now to show what they are made of.

    I don't think so either I think they are just going through a bad spell a good series against STL and they could be back in 1st Place.

    Living in the Baltimore area I don't hear much Brewers talk, but listening today as they were taking MLB/Playoffs one of the guys mentioned that he wouldn't be surprised if the Brewers fired their manager if they were to keep losing by the end of the week saying that they have done it before. I don't see them making a change but wanted to know what others thought or if there is any talk by fans in the Milwaukee area.

    Who will man the hot corner next season? ARam has a $14M option next year, but will the brewers want to pay that much? What options do we have in the minors?

    Can't see the Nats trading LaRoche for Estrada and Weeks. Weeks contract alone would be a show stopper, and who do we have on our bench once he is gone? I don't think any team is desperate enough for Estrada. I think to get LaRoche it would have to be for Yo or Nelson.

    Not exactly. They could be shooting much higher than Morales like I said in the trade rumors thread. Like who? It's not like Chris Davis or Joey Votto is going to be available. Living near Baltimore I hear plenty on the O's and a few days ago they mentioned possibly using Davis as a trade chip if they are out of it come July. I am in no way saying that they will trade him and he will be our 1B come August, but just passing along what I heard.

    I wonder if he is hurt, arm is tired or what because he hasn't been the same the last few times out just inconsistent compared to earlier in the year.

    2 runs is bad, but the 30 pitches in the first inning might be the worst part.

    If Estrada can keep his pitch count down and not fall behind early we should be alright as that first 5 should be able to put up some runs.
