  1. Weston Wilson, 3B from Clemson.
  2. Perfect Game calls Crow a 3B but the Brewers announced him as a pitcher.
  3. Rd. 16 Louis Crow, prep pitcher from Buena Park, CA
  4. Scott Serigstad 6-1, 190 right hander.
  5. Round 15 was a pitcher from Cal State Fullerton but I didn't catch the name. At least it sounded hard to spell.
  6. Gabriel Garcia, catcher from Puerto Rico in Rd. 14.
  7. Morrison was 12th round. I put the wrong round for Jankins.
  8. Chad McClanahan in rd 11. Prep from Phoenix who is an Arizona State commit (1B/3B). Thomas Jankins in Rd 12. Pitcher/SS from Quinnipiac (Massachusetts native).
  9. Trever Morrison missed a bunch of games for Oregon State at the end of the year with a broken hand. link
  10. On the highlight of his second HR, it looks like Monte Harrison watched it at the plate and then got into it with the Kane County bench when he crossed the plate. Not taking sides but he might want to tone that down a bit.
  11. What no Canadians yet? Doug? Doug? Brewers does have two "r's" in it. Gotta have the "r".
  12. Is it possible to hit into 100 double plays in a game? Or maybe it just seemed the Manatees did today.
  13. Yikes, hopefully he just doesn't want to let it rip yet. All news from fall was he was sitting mid 90s topping 98. 1st game back so I can understand that but hopefully he regains that velocity soon I kind of assumed he was going easy. Zach Jones was 95-97 so it wasn't the gun. The Twins' announcer (or Miracle as they are called) says the book on Cody is that he has a relatively straight fastball but locates it well to both sides. Sometimes good to get the perspective of the other side. Zach Jones, of course, played for the Twins and they know he throws nothing straight.
  14. Cody Ponce went 2 innings. 4 K's and one bloop hit. He was sitting around 91-92 on his fastball. Zach Jones now in.
  15. Fort Myers is broadcasting the game tonight.
  16. DSL Brewers were rained out today.
  17. Diaz and Gatewood are All-Stars, but Allemand isn't? Presumably, the voting was largely done before Allemand went on his hot streak.
  18. MH-- Today's DSL game is in and they now have yesterday's game as well. Brewers were 1-1.
  19. Wow. The Manatees must have eaten their Wheaties this morning. 6-spot in the 4th, all after the first two hitters were retired. The hitting seems to be picking up. Clint Coulter has hit the ball very hard the last couple of days, at least, without a whole lot to show for it. He does have a 2B today.
  20. Weisenburger left the game early for the Manatees. The Mets' announcer doesn't know why.
  21. Brandon Woodruff, Dustin Houle and Johnny Davis made the FSL All-Star Team.
  22. --and Sharkey saved him a couple of others. His throws seems to be way off at the moment.
  23. Miguel Diaz really lit up bad but at least Gatewood drew a walk.
  24. Clint Coulter putting in an appearance tonight. Hopefully, he's not coming back too soon.
  25. Just to put things in perspective-The model for Stearns, the Astros, after 6 years of horrendous losing had one 86 win season. The Astros are now in last place in their division with the 2nd worst record in the AL. (Only the Twins, another rebuilding team are worse).
