Coulter missed time this year with an oblique problem. For all we know, he was playing most of the year with that. According to the Fort Myers broadcaster, the book on Clint is hard stuff in, which would be pretty standard against power hitters. If he isn't connecting with Yost as a hitting coach, maybe the Brewers should get another guy down there to help.

Don't forget the DSL 17 year old trio. One of last year's top international signings, Jose Sibrian, Moises Perez, who already has a 2 home run game in the DSL and Luis Avalo, who just got a walk off 3 run home run.

Parker Bean has signed per his own tweet: link

The DSL Brewers were rained out today.

Walk off 3 run HR for Luis Avalo (not to be confused with Luis Avila) wins for the DSL Brewers in the 10th. They had scored 3 in the bottom of the 9th to tie the game.

Michael Gonzales signed. Prep pitcher. link

Moises Perez with a double in three at bats. Today at first base. Sibrian had two hits (maybe feeling the Perez heat?).
  9. WV Brew
Don't know much about Moises Perez but he hit two HRs today as a catcher for the DSL Brewers.

They listed Whalen in the infield earlier. I guess they changed it since I first looked at it.

Braden Webb has now signed per Haudricourt tweet.

Only 3 outfielders on the official Helena roster? I guess some of those infielders could play out there if need be.
  13. WV Brew
Cody Ponce again seeming to be throwing in the low 90s. I missed the start of the game though so maybe he was throwing harder early. Manatees being perfect gamed so far through 4.
  14. WV Brew
Joe Ayrault lasted exactly one batter. Clint Terry walked the first guy then was called for a balk and they ran Ayrault when he complained. After a passed ball and sac fly, the Manatees were already down a run without the benefit of a Cardinals hit. Typical. Back-to-back HRs by Cuas and McCall have tied the game late though.

Brevard County will start with a rain delay.
  16. WV Brew
More crooked numbers for the DSL Brewers. Marcos Pinero with 4 walks, Josue Herrera 3-6, Jay Feliciano with a HR. Always good to beat the Cardinals. Nice Monte Harrison article on Milb talking about his approach at the plate.

Padres took Taylor Kohlwey from UW-Lacrosse in round 21.
  18. WV Brew
    21. Nathan Rodriguez, Cypress College, another catcher for your pleasure.
  19. WV Brew
Even with underslot deals it seems highly improbable that they'd be able to come up with that. Yeah, I don't expect him to sign but he might have been that ace pitcher some people wanted in this draft.

http://www.californiagoldenblogs.com/2016/6/10/11904174/future-ace-jared-horn-firm-in-his-commitment-cal-baseball-mlb-draft Link states it will take $3 million to lure Horn away from Cal.
  21. WV Brew
Horn was the 34th rated prospect overall by MLB. Commitment to Cal which is why nobody else took him. Brewers probably cannot sign him but if negotiations go wrong with other draftees, maybe they could put something together.
  22. WV Brew
    20. There goes Jarod Horn. Probably won't sign him but they do draft him. You've got 10 Minutes Casey.
  23. WV Brew
Pearl River CC lists him as "Zachary". He's from Louisiana.
  24. WV Brew
    19. Zach Clark, Pearl River CC, OF

I just lost the MLB feed. It was coming in great for me until the last couple of minutes. Oh well. I should be happy it lasted this long I guess.
