    We are losing so much value with that trade Houser alone probably gets gets you Walsh If im trading Woodruff, im including Cain and I'm asking for Marsh, Walsh and Detmers.

    Trying to think of a realistic trade where Brewers walk away with Hosmer and Berrios, but dont have to give up prospects Brewers get: Hosmer/ Berrios Padres get: JBJ / ? Twins get: Hassell / Morejon

    Could have been a fake report, but saw yesterday that the Mets called the Brewers on Anderson or Houser and Brewers refuse to engage in talks.

    What about his OBP/SLG though? 119 wRC+ career vs lefties, 115 wRC+ career vs righties. Maybe not very good, but 15 to 20 percent above average across the board. I'm not denying that he wouldnt be an upgrade, all i can think of when i hear his name is a young Mark Reynolds.

    Check out his OBP, lack of left/right disparity, defensive ability, and position flexibility. HIs OBP is nice, but keep in mind the team around him. Teams are pitching around him. You can pretty much guarantee that if this team still had Grandal at 1b, everyone would be ********. He even has a higher OBP. Splits - He bats .209 vs .244 - Still not very good. Position flexibility is good, but if he comes here, he's playing 1st or 3rd, thats it.

    why does everyone want Gallo. we already have a team that can't hit for avg. Power is very nice, but we need guys that can put the ball in play.

    Teams will over pay at trade deadline. Mentioned this before, you get quantity in off season, quality during season

    He was the one predicting Corbin Burnes to the White Sox... We would be stupid to trade Burnes. He's under control for 3 more season after this season....But if we do trade him, Vaughn has to come back. Vaughn/Crocket/Thompson for Burnes would be good. ( assuming they view Crocket as a starter)
