  1. Might get another bite of the apple. Adames was a train wreck this year, Woodruff is limping into the off-season barely playing all year, and Burnes was disappointing for the most part. who wants to twice up a good return for them?
  2. He would have never got there and it seemed both runner knew it. Not sure he could have faked it to even trick the 2nd base runner to be honest.
  3. Plenty of people think he can carry a rotation post Burnes/Woodruff.
  4. Freddy Peralta is not and will never be an ace. He is our modern Gallardo. The guy is just a tease.
  5. Time to blow it up and do a mini rebuild. No need to humor ourselves and think this clown squad can do anything.
  6. How unshocking out of Peralta. Taters for runs when he was dealing.
  7. Not saying he is, but he has quite an uphill battle. I think most were pretty skeptical of him coming into the season. He has so little power. Unless he becomes an OBP machine, hard to see him become a decent MLB player.
  8. Lucky has not been on our side so far in this series.
  9. And one could find a couple thousand trash player that stayed trash for every exception. Turang was never a great hitter in the minors. Him not hitting in the majors is hardly shocking.
  10. There is no neutral party. Guy was never coming out.
  11. This is going much better than the two times we faced him in the regular season already.
  12. You are missing the best one. The one that gets up in the middle of the inning, half a row stands up to let them out, a play happens, and they proceed to stop and watch the entire thing unfold mid-row. So half a row is just standing up.
  13. Glad you didn't put Gallen's line against us this year...because...yikes.
  14. Well, the reality is, a trainwreck tomorrow is better than sitting at home tomorrow. No reason most of these guys can't pitch three days in a row if we need them to. Devin William after 31 yesterday is probably a no-go, yeah. Then Burnes can choose to be an ace for 7 innings on Saturday or get lit up for 7 innings. The NLDS gets an off-day after Game 1 so most of the guys can rest Friday through Sunday. Wilson/Milner didn't throw more than 6 pitches, Uribe/Peguero didn't throw more than 15 pitches. It wouldn't be pretty, but that is what we get for emptying the pen to lose Game 1. If you empty the pen again today, you are definitely getting the Miley/Rea show for 6 at the bare minimum tomorrow (if we somehow win today).
  15. If I was a betting man, I would say there is a pretty strong chance, in most scenarios tonight, he won't pitch more than 4 innings regardless of how he does.
  16. Peralta has one postseason start in his career, 4 scoreless innings in 2021. While Gallen has nice stats, he has given up 4+ runs in over a third of his 2023 starts. That includes four times in his last seven outings. This will be his first postseason appearance of his career.
  17. Below is what it would look like to plop Titletown next to AmFam. Orange is where it would logically go, but the Red would be the alternative. Even if you shrank it down you would still be using, at minimum, the east preferred parking or at least 25% of the main preferred parking area. Which is a problem...this wouldn't use the back of Uecker/Yount lots, it would go in the prime parking areas they currently have. Over the course of a year, that is a massive loss in parking revenue. One can hail Selig for keeping baseball in Milwaukee, but the downfall was the fact he demanded the ballpark right where it already was instead of the downtown location the city preferred.
  18. Because good pitching always shows up, right Burnes?
  19. The ball was in the air for fractions of a second. He was a dead duck. It sucks, is what it is.
  20. Counsell was just praying Turang could put it in play and get a run…he didn’t. Seemed like a prime spot to get aggressive and go to the bench.
  21. Why is this dude even on the roster? It’s like having a pitcher out there.
  22. This was my thought. We got hosed by many similar ones. Lol
