  1. In today’s NFL environment that seemed like a really easy flag to throw. Shocked he got away with it.
  2. This may be the worst part of losing Rodgers…now we get the lowest on the totem pole announcers.
  3. These announcers are so dumb. Downplaying the PI because it is only worth a half yard. Uhhh yah…let’s forget 1st and half a yard versus 3rd down because of it…
  4. It’s a basic coaching responsibility to be aware of the clock and cover your player’s butt’s. Blame it in MLF…or the coaches standing next to him. There is no excuse to not be aware the kick is no where near being ready to get kicked.
  5. Good clock management MLF, how do you let that expire?
  6. Clearly there is something to it. If they were just graciously letting him clean out his locker and go home due to injury they would have said/done something.
  7. It appears Shohei Ohtani is rage quitting the Angels after clearing out his locker yesterday.
  8. He isn’t diluting himself. He doesn’t need to invest more into the Brewers. The valuation of the franchise is what it is. It goes up with the general value of MLB as a whole. That is why a completely dysfunctional and disaster of a sports franchise can be put up for sale and break records when sold.
  9. An upgrade to the concession stands at that…not even the garbage food they dish out.
  10. *checks bingo card* Yes, just as I predicted...we eliminated the Cardinals from the divisional race on September 14th
  11. No, because I literally acknowledged that in my post. My point is, losing Stearns isn't really that much of a loss for future purposes. You can keep a guy's philosophy and the foundation they built long after they are gone. This is not college football, losing the main guy (head coach in college football terms), doesn't result in an exodus of the current guys and then no one wants to come in because they are gone. Most of the personnel outside of Stearns (if not all) will stick around.
  12. Honestly, who cares. If he was so great, the Mets wouldn't have waited years to get him. If he was so great, he probably would have figured out how to take a team that won 95+ and was one game away from the World Series to the second level of the playoffs again. Yet, here we are half a decade later...happy to win a single postseason game before getting bounced. He has failed for years to make an offense not be so embarrassing, yet here we are...still sucking. Never used prospect capital to really add much and sucked at spending money in FA. A winning culture he may have built and a consistent competitive team. That culture can survive way past him if you know what you are doing. It is probably a good thing he is gone and passing on the torch. His value to the franchise clearly maxed out and plateaued. Not saying he is bad or didn't dramatically changed Brewers baseball...but Stearns isn't a magically holy grail. He is quite replacable.
  13. Stop spamming the forum with these embarrassing articles. I mean, what even is this?
  14. Why did they make this the Sunday night game???
  15. People kind of clowned Texas and Oklahoma for going to the SEC…yet Texas has now beat Alabama at home (after narrowly losing last year). Also, since Wisconsin fans tend to hate Bielema…his face was meme worthy most of the other night as Kansas dominated them. If you haven’t yet, I invite you to watch Kansas’ offense. It’s pretty exciting to watch. Lance Leipold has made an incredible football culture there.
  16. I look forward to a more challenging matchup in the future to see how this team does. Love impressed, but the Bears had zero pass rush. And the Bears offense…yikes. The trenches matter the most at the end of the day and the Bears were wildly inferior. Will be interesting to see if we have a pass rush or if the Bears O-Line was just that trash. Jordan Love protected the football, a nice trait to mirror from the predecessor. If he can do that consistently, idk, I think this team is good enough to get to the playoffs.
  17. He was going to die on that hill. It is Week 1 too.
  18. Jordan Love darn near getting taken out before the end of the game…not the way Bears fans were dreaming of though.
  19. I don’t think Fields is very good, but his O-Line is sooooo bad. The coaching and FO seems lost too. I
  20. Nice opening drives to start the halves. Let’s not take a nap this time.
  21. The TE didn’t help, but he launched that sucker over his head regardless. Which was a pretty big miss. He also threw it behind the guy on the next play, which probably costed us a chunk of the field. He also had one-on-one early and launched it ten yards over the guys head. He is getting phenomenal protection, so mediocre accuracy is a low bar to clear. But really, him not making costly mistakes is better to see than anything.
  22. Love’s accuracy has been quite…bad. On positive note, minus the sack, he hasn’t made any dumb mistakes.
  23. Yah, that ain’t going to work quite as well without Rodgers. I mean Rodgers was pretty good at selling it, but a lot of that is the fact Rodgers in a HOFer/MVP…you actually think he would go for it and get it. Jordan Love at 4th and 4? Not quite as believable.
  24. Tackle him any lower and we will just start getting 15 yard flags.
  25. Some nice plays to make that stop.
